I could juggle a 3 ball cascade when I was a kid. But haven't juggled since about ten years old. Last fall at 34 years old I randomly had a dream that I learned to juggle clubs. It lit a fire for me. My wife and kids got me some nice bean bags and clubs for Christmas. Now I can juggle way better than I ever could. Also never stop after 20 plus years of not juggling the 3 ball cascade was hard to do. Plus clubs a way fun.

(My 10-year old pupil shared!) That's so wonderful of you to explain juggling styles and numbers recently, my world is widening because of you, THANKS! P. S. Me and Martin really hope that the guy at the end will ask you out) KEEP TRYING, TAYLOR!!!!

Whenever I tried to juggle three balls (I'm definitely a 1 ball juggler) I tried to do a different way (many years pre-internet) than you showed in your beginner cascade video. At 10:13 I've realised I spent my formative years attempting to learn the shower pattern. No wonder I never got it down.

Cool video. It's great to learn about these different styles of juggling. I might try some of them. When I started juggling many years ago all I had were tennis balls , and I learnt the 3 shower first, as I didn't known any other patterns. At the momemt I'm working particularly on 5, 6 and 7 ball patterns. I also like to combine juggling with hacky sacking using uglies, bouncing them of legs, feet, etc as well as juggling them.

Awesome you showed a video of Gautier as an example of french juggling. I used to work with him, there are some videos of him buried in my channel. Little tip, if you whant to do a fluid club frenchy thing start swinging your clubs and let them go when you arm goes up, keep turning your arm and catch the clubs when they come down. Its not that simple, but that is a good start.

My humiliating juggling story. Five or so years ago at the age of 66 I learned to juggle 3 balls. OK, big deal !! I then went to a friend's house. He has a son who was ~ 23 years old. I showed off to him how I could juggle 3 balls. About 9 or so months later I returned to my friend's house. His son now showed me how he could juggle 5 balls or 5 pins using various tricks. I was humiliated. He told me that he took a "college" course on juggling. I never knew there was such a thing. I returned home, purchased pins and now I can juggle 3 pins or 3 balls in the dark !! The son is still MUCH better then me but I don't care. I show my skills to people who have very little coordination and they believe that I am super human.
