She was 8th in the whole world in her peak took down wc just an inspiration and an attacking Genius...love judit
The way the 2 knights could combine is so cool!
I found myself compelled to tell all the casual non-chess people who were talking about Queen’s gambit last month about Judit. The closest to a real life Beth there’s ever been. And they’re all surprisingly super interested to hear about it. Seems like the show really has people interested in chess.
@justinbieber8028

Why were you so surprised that they were interested? If someone likes a show about a strong female chess player then it would only make sense that they’d be interested in hearing about a strong female chess player.
I love that GM Simon made it a point to say that Judit is one of the best chess players period. Regardless of gender. And that she's the best woman chess player in history. And that he and all of us benefit from her play.
This is one of the best series on entire KZread!!! Please continue this with other legends' top 5 moves!!!
The third game just mind blown
I felt really smart for figuring the first one out! Learning chess is so fun, I got positively giddy when I realized a queen sacrifice would work! Good vid, thanks mate.
@jmojma

the first one is actually fairly common even among regular chess players
"That's irrelevant." Perfect comment by a brilliant commentator.
Thank you for putting out a video about a female chess player, love to see some representation.
great to see the continuation of this series resume ❤️
The two knights are a favorite when they team up side-by-side to deliver a form of smothered mate. As GM Williams would so accurately call it, "astonishing." Two knight mates side-by-side are always difficult to spot by us mere chess mortals. Thank you for sharing, Mr. Williams. There is an amazing Q sac with the two knight side-by-side mate in Irving Chernev's "A Fireside Book of Chess." A great read with some real "Things that make you go hmm" moments about chess..
Thanks Simon. You're the one I look forward to on this channel.
Its always a pleasure watching Simon Williams comments.
Nice games and nice explations..! Thanks
Its really entertaining how he explains all stuff.😄 We want more vdos simon😊👍
total. the amazing thing is that a lot of her games have similar series of punches when delivering Checkmate.A truly unique player
Stunning. Brilliant. Thank you for sharing.
g4 to prepare Harry h2-h4xg5 is an awesome attacking idea!
Please do Capablanca and Alekhine best moves when you can
The first one was my favorite! Awesome queen sacrifice I never would of thought of that
The plan and move against Berkes Frenc is my favourite. Slow motion death.
Polgar’s game vs Shirov should be her immortal.
Excelent choice of pics in Shirov match :D
Good bless you man, you always makes me laugh from all my heart
Yeayyy... GM simon is back.... I do love his every single word👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 🥰🥰🥰
Waiting for capablancas best moves!
Liked video as usual.. but please.. state what colour (Polgar in this case).. to play… thanks x
The last one was great I’m just an intermediate player and I was stunned by all those I’m curious if there was a way to wiggle out of her attacks maybe somehow she left an opening while gaining up on the king she lost focus somewhere else I’m very curious
All these attacks check out with Stockfish 8 except the last one. There seems to be a clear refutation of this one, although the move seems terribly difficult to find (3. Nb5). Nonetheless, that 4 out of 5 of these attacks are irrefutable is no surprise at all: Judit was a bona fide phenom.
Valóban nagyon jó válogatás! 👍
7:21 isn't qh8 or qh7 is mate why to take bishop with knight

I just figured out what the move was from the first game on this list the moment I saw a thumbnail of this video. :)
This g4!! move was amazing.
The assault on Chernin was a mugging!
Thanks for the "Name Your Pawns" lesson!
They should make a series about the Polgars
Came here from the book called Atomic Habits, there was an analogy drawn related to Judit's family and I was curious
Reminds me of Paul Morphy, Fischer's favourite player, and described by him as being probably the most accurate player of all time.
The fifth one was my favourite
the second was awesome, nice job judit

Thanks for the video. It’s great! However you do talk about her in the past tense, which makes one worry whether she is still alive?!! But also for me , she is one the best voices of chess of all time, with her amazing ability to talk about chess. Please add that to the list of ongoing accolades ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The playstyle of judit is always aim for the king
She is the best female out there today... Great player Judith Polgar
8:50 Black resigned, OK.
Judit Polgar is brilliant..... Love these games
Most amzing
In the first game Judit's brillancy was when she played Re8 she made a trap for Pavlina by giving her a piece and then she smashed her with the queen sac In general playing against Judit is really suicidal 😈😈
awesome
At 7:21 why no queen h7 or h8 checkmate?
@akhibrace1079
2 жыл бұрын
Because the bishop/queen gives a check
g4 to facilitate h4 is a brilliantly obvious idea
Why wasn't the rook captured in the 4th example?
The first game (against Chiringirova) was played in 1988. Judit was 12 years old and Pavlina was 33. The pictures you used are from roughly 3 decades later. Come on.
Absolutely brutal.
Oh yeah is very awesome
I love a good Back Ranker
From my limited chess research, Judit is the most aggressive player ever. Only the best defensive players have won against her. Unfortunately for her, some of the greatest defensive players ever live along with her.
Brilliant
poggers, guessed the last move, lmao
She is an awesome player! Love her!

I came here from the "Atomic Habits" book
She waits for the perfect time to attack and then attacks all over the board, very intelligent style.
