Because it’s way harder to try and copy someone else and remember everything they did, that’s why people play the main licks and shit and just improv the rest

What i like about Joe is that he sounds like himself even when playing VH. Eddie used to say the same thing. Lol he said that no matter what cover song he played, it still sounded like VH. 😊

One of my favorite Hager-era VH songs, so seeing this live last night was great. And for those saying it's lower key, watch/listen to VH play this song live during the "Balance" tour in 1995. They played it lower way back then too.
