Personally, I like this. It's refreshing to see young people taking an interest in some forgotten music. The only negative I could add, would be that he needs to work a little on his pronunciation. I would like to hear him do some Tom Waits songs , I'll bet he will do very well. If you're reading this; don't let the negativity get to you , you do what makes you happy. The audience will always know if you're singing from your head, or your heart. I wish you a long, healthy and happy life. Best of luck to you!

Mack the Knife is what’s known as a ‘standard’, essentially the opposite of forgotten. The uncomfortable choice to do a ‘semi-Armstrong’ impersonation feels about as appropriate as blacking-up. I know some of this is due to lack of cultural context and awareness rather than maliciousness, but it’s still distracting enough for me to completely disregard this performer.

1. "Mack the Knife" or "The Ballad of Mack the Knife", originally "Die Moritat von Mackie Messer", is a song composed by Kurt Weill with lyrics by Bertolt Brecht for their music drama Die Dreigroschenoper, or, as it is known in English, The Threepenny Opera. It premiered in Berlin in 1928 at the Theater am Schiffbauerdamm. The song has become a popular standard recorded by many artists, including a US and UK number one hit for Bobby Darin in 1959. 2. Ibarra Balani Lance Armstrong? Then he should have had a yellow t-shirt on.
It seems that joke of the judge with cap, wasn’t funny for him😳😲😱
next time hello dolly
It annoys me. they put translations up for some. others your left guessing
is this mein hertz guy?
Awesome! He put some real "gravel" into his singing. And his moves and gestures were spot-on. But the judge with that Yankees hat needs to change it for a Red Sox or Patriots hat.

Didn't understand, sounded like he was mumbling Louis Armstrong style and not singing.
Not bad for a Ukrainian kid. Too bad he does not play the trumpet!

G Bruce. I'm glad the doesn't play the trumpet..It might be worse than the noise he makes with his mouth! Talentless and tasteless like the air headed judges on the panel.
Bobby Darin not Armstrong
