How can it be "Ineffective Counsel" when he opted to forgo the appointed/selected attorney for counsel, then decided to represent himself, thus in effect he now becomes the Defendant's Counsel...Now that he has made that decision with proceedings underway there is very limited recourse or actions the defense attorney can legally partake in...The only people who represent themselves without having an actual legal background are those individuals who are dumb as Fu*k!!!!!

I literally just finished an 8mo court case defending myself today - the matter was dismissed. I ended up defending myself because a public defender was not afforded to me and I could not afford an attorney. The day that I applied for a public defender, there were about a dozen of us applying and I listened as literally every single person was turned down except a single elderly woman who was wheelchair bound and had many health defects which kept her from being employed. “If you cannot afford one” is apparently a statement open to interpretation and some judges hold it as a general rule that people can afford one unless they’re on death’s doorstep and have nobody around that can help them.

As far as self diagnosing Covid, who knows. I can tell myself if I have a cold or the flu and take appropriate actions to lessen the effects so I can back to work. I did get knocked on my ass with a flu where i stayed in bed for an actual week. Was it Covid? probabily not, I heard Covid was reaaly bad. I tried to get as much sleep as possible. I do not believe this guy is not an idiot, just misinformed. I believe he did actaul research, but I do not believe he confirmed the information he was researching. Just because someone says something does not make it true. I could be lying for that matter. Unchecked information is simply that. Opinions matter but is an opinion the truth. That is up to you. I believe smart people can get roped into these situations because they want to take power onto themselves. People want to have a sense of control any kind of control onto themselves and in that sense power to effect their own lives. Is our system perfect? I not believe so. Can our system be better? I believe in time it will be better than it is now. How can I be so sure? I am not, but I am hopeful that one day people on this planet will be wiser than they are now, kinder than they are now, and smarter than they are now. As a planet we are weak. We do not work together, we fight over resources, we still can be swayed by race and religion by passing snake oil sellsman that only wants to take from others and disapear in the crowd after the chaos starts. As a planet we need to work together. In another few thousand years, I believe we will almost certainly look almost alike with different races comingling. I believe the only reason we may look different is biological responces to the enviroment that we live in for the most part. As an example, brighter enviroment means more meletonin in the skin to protect the body. I wish people would focus more on the how a person acts then what they look like.

Many years ago, as a police officer, I was escorting a county jail prisoner to court for appearance on possible release on probation. (no bailiff that day) When we got to the courtroom, there was an older gentlemen before the judge. Even from across the room, I could tell he had been drinking before coming to court. As the judge is handling the case the man goes up and leans against the bench (probably to keep from falling over). The judge repeatedly warns him to not lean against the bench. A few second later the guy would do the same thing... At one point the guy pipes up with, "Hell Dave (the judge's name), you and me used to be old drinking buddies. How many times did I drink you under the table?" It was like in a cartoon. First the judge's face flushed red, then his ears, the his neck... The judge sees me at the back of the court and yells, "Officer, take this man into custody for direct contempt! Five days in jail!" I go up and cuff the guy and call for another officer to take him over to the jail because I can't leave my other prisoner. When we finally get him taken care of, the judge is still royally pissed off! He is throwing files around on his desk and still red in the face. Finally he calls out my prisoner's name. The prisoner just stays seated and says, "No! No! I ain't comin' up there until you calm down!" Dead silence! You can see the judge take a deep breath and then says, "Sir, you are correct. 15 minute recess!" When court resumed the prisoner was released on immediate probation....
