Yes bro you can buy the adapters for almost any small caliber now, so you can practice with cheap

with the S&W governor you can shot 45 acp with moon clips

It can fire 45 acp if you use moon clips it would be a lot cheaper than buying tubes to shoot 9mm

Actually you really shouldn’t use those pieces unless in an absolute pinch I suppose the reason is those bullets don’t contact the rifling in the barrel so they just tumble in their losing accuracy and also without creating a seal for the propellant it looses power too

I would probably take this revolver for home defense before a shotgun, due to the bird/buck shot…. Opinions?🤔🤔🤔

Put a rubber washer on the ejecting cut on the 9mm and it will work 🫡

.410 bore is not made for the judge...it's been around for a Long time bud...the judge was designed to shoot both since the diameter is the same for each. Most 45 Long colts cylinders arent Long enough for .410 bore but the cylinders on the judge are increased in length to accommodate. 410 bore.

Look at getting an aftermarket grip. Dont know the name but i got larger grip and it is more comfortable to shoot especially with 410 shells.

@@dondadatopshotta the grip that i got was Pachmayr Diamond Pro Grip. Game changer.

personally i recommend just shooting 45LC and 4/10 out of it and not messing around with conversion sleeves. the judge is a cool handgun but it has very limited use cases outside of in your face scenario's. they typically are not accurate even with 45lc and because the barrel is rifled it also messes with grouping / pattern on multi shot shells and buckshot. 4/10 slugs designed to work with these can provide the best results for accuracy. for actual self defense i would recommend a modern 9mm and call it a day. as a hunting sidearm this makes great sense. load 3 #6 bird shot and 2 slugs and you have the perfect snake/preditor be gone gun for tight situations.

They want $200 for 5 of those adaptors though

No adapter for 45acp for this (aka 410 to 45acp adapter) but they got a 22lr adapter, 38 special adapter, 380 adapter, and a 9mm adapter for this. That’s just of 1 listing I seen- could be others out there but yea that’s quite an impressive range. You get 5 sleeves in a series for about $200.

​@dondadatopshotta do not shoot .45 acp in your gun .you will blow your gun apart and hurt yourself .black powder is used in 45 lc and 45 acp uses smokeless powder .just stick with the 45 lc and 410 ,also wouldn't mess with the inserts for 410 either .those are designed for single shot 410 shotguns and I wouldn't risk your gun and your life
