Due to my 36 years working for a government contractor that had to manage classified information, I filed a formal complaint with the Eleventh Circuit to have Judge Cannon removed from this case. If I had ever done a fraction of what Trump has done with classified information, I would have immediately been placed in a pre-trial holding cell.

I had top secret clearances when I was a writer for a government contractor. If I had ever took documents home or failed to lock them in a SCIF, Id be in jail. slippery slope . I have been thinking this for quite some time because i am fairly certain much of what she is doing is being influenced by powers far above her - as in leonard leo , the federalist society - some other advocacy group/ agent - I am pretty certain about that - and that should be made known publicly because this is an absolute travesty and complete disintegration of the judiciary. However, she is very much entitled to her 4th amendment protections - that is where that becomes very dicey - and getting another judge to authorize a warrant for that - well lets say if that were to happen - you can believe there would be a lot of inculpatory evidence. I don't expect it to happen but there is plenty of valid reasons to be awfully suspicious - can anyone else provide an example involving significant national security information being compromised - and the prosecution is forced to tiptoe around the defendant ? Did they afford that type of deference to any other person accused of compromising National security info ? You are not going to find it

"A Justice should disqualify himself or herself in a proceeding in which the Justice’s impartiality might reasonably be questioned, that is, where an unbiased and reasonable person who is aware of all relevant circumstances would doubt that the Justice could fairly discharge his or her duties. Such instances include, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO ...". I think that any unbiased and reasonable person would doubt a judge could fairly discharge their duties, where the defendant is the same person that had appointed them to their position! In fact it would seem impossible to imagine how such a justice could hope to be impartial, should be a disqualification by default. And if a justice in that situation did not disqualify themself, that alone would suggest they are not up to the job in the first place. Hopefully Jack Smith would have already been onto this? Any way of knowing?

The appeals court needs to remove her immediately.

I’ll be happy when Jack Smith gets Cannon removed, gets trump convicted , get trump in prison, comes back to prosecute the Congress members for their involvement in January 6th. Then comes back to prosecute Cannon!

Unfortunately, Supreme Court has to agree, and a lot of those Supreme Court Judges are also go with Politics, they should understand their jobs, definitely of a JUDGE and why our Founding Father created equally at that time. It is so sad that a lot of these judges are bias, political involved and may be well GREED involve also. The problem is that she has hardly DONE ANYTHING, so there is nothing to appeal. He could go to the 11th circuit and request a writ of mandamus to FORCE her to act, but most legal experts I've read haven't been too enthusiastic about that course of action. All I can tell you is that a writ of mandamus is like "in case of emergency break glass". A famous example of an unsuccessful writ of mandamus is Marbury vs. Madison.

If she is inexperienced and not confident to try this case…she needs to recuse herself, like any self respecting judge would do. But then she is a Trump appointee with clear bias. She has had two of her rulings overturned. That says it all. IMO

There is so much danger awaiting this country if he gets into office… an explosive proliferation of evil acts & consequences awaits. I’m thinking of all the horrendous consequences of Project 2025 (Heritage Foundation), NATO, an orange King with immunity, etc. I’m not a hyperbolic person, but man, I go from seething anger to doom-consumed.

We can't even get impeachment not less removed because MAGAt criminals have too many House and Senate seats and will protect their criminal network including corrupt judges to protect them if they do wind up in court.
