Jude is one impressive little dude. Kids are more resilient than a lot of adults give them credit for (understandable, most adults don't like seeing kids in pain) but "the Mayor" takes it to another level. Damn.

Wait a moment... I know Jude, in case you were wondering he is doing fine now. He plays the drums in the School of Rock program with me. He made an entire recovery from this which I’m surprised because now he is very active!

Twenty years ago I worked with a little boy who was quadriplegic. He was at Childrens for two years. This is a wonderful place for children with severe injury or chronic birth defects

I know a family they are related thru my nephew and he has this. It's horrible there isn't much you can do with some cases. Especially if you don't get to the doctor. Prayers for this family!!!

Will somebody please deal with the anti-vaxxers in the comments? Jude got transverse myelitis from a bad ear infection. He’s doing fine now, anyway.
