Being locked in an asylum for 264 days because u can kill people with a touch, then finding out ur parents r actually supreme commanders and they gave u up for testing and made ur sister a monster and then proceeded to wipe ur own memories as well as all ur friends and the guy u loved is relatable? Damn ur life seems interesting

@@user-zm9hg6gk6l jude IS selfish. This is her indisputable character flaw. I get that ppl like how she has agency in the story but she IS an extremely selfish person. Most of the bad things that happen to her happened bc she simply refuses to trust ppl or conform. Taryn said it, vivienne said it, the court of shadows AND cardan. They all know she does her own thing and then lies and keeps secrets to herself. Thats what makes her a great character bc shes REAL, not good. The first book served as an explanation for WHY shes selfish and untrusting, but the second book clearly showed us just how bad she got by not yelling anybody anything.
