when I saw them in 2011 on the epitaph tour, as great as tipton is, when they were playing this behemoth of a song, glen looked like he was having trouble and wanting solo to end, but I know age catches up to people, he may have had a bad nightcuz he had a hard time keep up on the the sentinel as well honestly I think Richie should have played both solos in the song, glenn in sorry im bashing you your one of my favorite guitar players of all time, but I respect still for giving it your all

Grossguth Richard As you hopefully are aware by now, Glenn has full-blown Parkinson's disease and he has mostly retired from Judas Priest. Richie has taken over most/all of Glenn's solos because, at this point, Richie is essentially Priest's defacto lead guitarist, as you can basically tell just from this video.☺ Glenn is a great guitarist but it is just too hard for him to do full-on tours anymore. Andy Sneap, who produced Judas Priest's Firepower album has joined Judas Priest to fill in for the mostly retired Glenn Tipton. I believe however that Andy is focused primarily on providing the rhythm guitar parts, leaving the majority of the guitar solos in the very capable hands of Richie Faulkner. It seemed a bit disappointing that, not long after guitarist Ken Downing retired from Judas Priest, that Glenn should have been sidelined by Parkinson's the way he was but, life isn't always fair. I'm glad Richie and Andy are helping keep the Judas Priest legacy alive and well and still kicking serious ass, 45 years since their debut album Rocka Rolla was first released way back in 1974, when I was a wee lad of 13.☺ (So, yes, that makes me 58 now, for those who would prefer not doing the math on that.)
