, the new SCORPIONS album has some really good ones especially the extra tracks Unleash The Beast, When Tomorrow Comes, Shoot For Your Heart & Out Go The Lights. Peacemaker, Gas In The Tank, Shining Of Your Soul & Rock Believer are also pretty good. The only song I like of the new JP album is Panic Attack. The 80's were their best songs

As with all tours the first few dates are usually a bit rough around the edges and you can 100% hear which songs he's more comfortable with but unless he gets ill I think we'll have some fantastic shows coming up! And with that said I was surprised he sounded as good as he did back in 2018 and it's now 2024 and he's well into the 70's and still sound way better than should be seemingly possible lol

@@coreyfoster7322 Yea it for sure seems that way! There has been some rough spots in recent tours but most often that has been cause he's been ill and rarely and off day/week. And with how demanding the songs are I can imagine the line between sounding good and bad gets thinner and thinner with age. But yes I'm gonna see them later this year too and is very much looking forward to it!

I've been really enjoying reading everybody's stories, and thanks for sharing yours. This was an all-seated gig and, as such, didn't allow a lot of movement. The front row was also told to stand back and clear from the barrier early in the night. The crowd still tried to get involved with singing along, throwing up the horns, clapping and a little air guitaring on their confined spot 🤘

For this 62 yo metal head, who wore the grooves off of the Sad Wings of Destiny album, I never tire of hearing this epic song. While I'll always think that KK's version of the solo is the gold standard, I'm very impressed with Ritchie injecting his own personal flair into the solo....pretty freak'n awesome!

Not really a priest fan, but the band sound good and Halfords voice is incredible especially considering his age. I am amazed at the negative comments here from the usual " if theres a certain member missing its not really Judas Priest" which is really quite pathetic...bands grow/develop/lose members especially over 50 years! Then there are the personal attacks on how people look etc. Having been involved in the industry for many years may i suggest those who are complaining grow a pair of balls and see if they can get on a stage in front of thousands of people and play? It takes a certain kind of person to do it and Judas Priest and Saxon seem to be delivering the goods on this tour. Its a pity the crowd seem so reserved...almost like being in the States.

Indeed. And it seems its 'verboten' to acknowledge that the band is the poorer for it, now that the twin guitar attack that helped cement tneir legendary status is now sadly passed, as qualified as Mr. Faulkner is to replicate both guitar parts of classic songs. That doesmt take away from the new album, which is excellent.

Must be so disheartening for the band to see the entire front row completely motionless.

@@oldrichvoralek7716How many bands that are this old still have the original lineup touring? ZZ Top was able to make that claim until Dusty passed away and Motley Crue, albeit not as old, was still doing it until their fallout with Mick Mars but I really can't think of too many others unless it's a one off show here and there. If you want to see a band that's been out for 40+ years, with the original lineup, doing a full blown tour your options are limited. I think X is still touring and they were fantastic a few years back.

The quality and pedigree of the players justifies continuing. I get it but Ritchie and Andy are both top notch…personally I’m a HUGE fan of Andy Sneap since his days in Sabbat.

Lets be honest, virtually every mobile phone video on youtube is of such a shite picture/sound quality,if you had never heard of or seen the band before then it would put you off going.

@@ANDREWHALL28 .....My apologies but my comment was really meant to reflect the love, excitement behind a great gig-enjoying said gig without having to film every single moment. It`s time some gigs totally banned mobile phones like some comedians do at their shows. You have paid to see your fave band so enjoy it.
