I love Priest. I have all the cd's and the vinyls. Even have Halford's bands Fight, Two and Halford. And I just bought the KK's Priest album "Sermons of the Sinner" I have all the cd's in jewel case and cardboard sleeve versions. So, for that reason, I passed on this large box, as would be buying a third round of albums I already have. Word has it, though, there will be a smaller box available in the future that will contain only the live shows, so I will get that one. In the meantime, I did buy the Reflections highlights album on cd and double red vinyl.

The Ram It Down tour was also my first time seeing Priest live.It was in early October 1988. Slayer opened up for them. Ive got the boxset but havent opened it up yet. Thanks for sharing.

Update; some of the track listing is off, but they sent out replacement sleeves to correct the issue

mudd club 79 should be released on vinyl and irvine 91 on blu ray (because they filmed this gig !); the rest in this box is okay, but this 2 shows are some of their best gigs ever !!!

The box set looks awesome! I have to wait a few months yet to be able to get mine, but I'm looking forward to it so much. I want it for the stuff they did with Ripper. Never had any of it cause I couldn't find it anywhere. Also, all the live albums should be really cool/ Looks like a box set that's actually worth the money! Thanks for the video.

Thanks for showing that fantastic Box set its Huge Priest one of my fav Metal bands saw them only 2 times once with RIPPER and once with ROB loved both shows

Enjoy the rare stuff and especially the Mud Club live show, basically raw Unleashed in the East, Rob's vocals are out of this world! There is an amazing live version of the song Epitaph off Sad Wings called Commemorate.

On Disc 2 of "Beyond Live & Rare" does the song Diamonds and Rust skip a little bit around the slow part where Rob says the line about a crummy hotel over Washington Square?

I was at the Irvine 1991 show. Great show.

Pretty cool but I would have preferred the new live albums had been released separately and for all the b-sides, compilation exclusives and past bonus tracks to have been included instead.

Its quite a high upfront cost, though I feel like the value is there. If I could ever get one I absolutely would.

I love your Judas Priest box set it looks very beautiful and it has all of the band's album releases in it including the Ripper era which is great news for Judas Priest fans including myself I like to ask you how much did this box I cost you just out of curiosity thanks

Hello sir. My comment is that nowadays the only true "heavy metal" band is this one. This is the spirit which exists from Screaming For Vengeance untill Firepower exepting those 2 albums with Ripper which I convinced myself that they never existed. I m kinda curious what is goin to happend after this box because it smells on last tour. What ever happend this box is one legacy of the real true heavy metal sound. Is it expensive? Yes. But, its worth every coin

I love Priest! And yes Ripper era albums are tough to get. Nice collection btw but I prefer the 2001 remasters. Are those slipcase albums remastered? Do you also like the 2001 remasters? I pressume you own them all as I do :)

They are newly remastered. I have the old remasters, though they are in storage at the moment. I can’t compare them.

The bonus live material is awesome!! ..... I will say, i am pissed about the *clean* cuss word edited version of the "Demolition" album being included in this box set. The studio albums have kind of a dull flat sound (not much punch in the mix at all) and also there are some track listing errors on some of the CD sleeves.... I love Judas Priest, but man to pay almost $500 and get this lack of quality control is pretty disappointing 🤬🤬🤬

They are just card board sleeves, no booklets. The initial pressing even had the track list wrong on some, though they did send new sleeves out to all who ordered it

I was at that show in Stockholm 1983 that the poster is a replica from! Awesome show, best show I have ever seen from Priest!

I love priest but I was hoping for at least some unreleased stuff as always just repeats and rehashes of live stuff

Do the albums have the bonus tracks at the end of them like the remastered or do they have the same amount of tracks as the original albums

No bonus tracks. I’ll be posting an extensive review in a few days, just have to listen to all the live material first. Already caught a couple of errors in the live cds track listings.

@@lucalone I have to go back and look up a what all the bonus tracks were, there is a CD in the box set that is random live tracks. I’ll be doing a comprehensive review that will be posted later this week.

I agree. The other selling point to this catalog is the book with the rare pics and such, only problem is that there are two books with much of the same stuff coming out. BTW we’ve had some bad luck with the local air shows lately huh?

I just ordered my copy, geezus I thought it was gonna be max around $500 Canadian but after shipping fees and online tax man it cost me almost $900 , I ordered it through a friends PayPal account, thank god I’ll be able to finance the cost through him but fuck did they get me with all the additional fees and bullshit taxes. I’m in Canada , how much did it cost you?

I don’t disagree, he especially did a great job with Touch Of Evil. The problem with Ripper isn’t his voice, it’s that he stands there like a statue with a baseball cap down low and both hands gripping the mic.
