💯Palwasha Ji. There is no sabr (patience), lehaz (compromise) or khidmet (service) for anyone anymore. Whether it’s a husband or the wife, marriage is all about negotiation and compromise- sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but in the end it’s all about the companionship and not love. Marriage is no fairytale with expensive lehngas, dances and etc. It’s work! It’s a constant struggle. But that’s what life is, isn’t it? We always think we can find better but the grass is never greener on the other side. Learn to appreciate each other. You live with your own flaws. Learn to embrace and accept your partner’s flaws, too. No one is perfect. Only God is. We are all “work in progress”, unfinished products that need constant updating and work.
