Thanks Achim! I had to learn of this stuff on the job and experimenting by myself. That being said, there are some videos on youtube that gave me a basic understanding of how master controllers work. Glad you like it Aiden819! All it takes is a lot of practice and experimenting. Experience making rigs for various shows has helped me a lot too.

A full body rig can take anywhere between a couple of days to around 2 weeks, depending on complexity. This particular rig was an experiment. I wanted to make a complex/advanced head during my free time (Which I rarely have these days, lol). In the end, this rig took me around two months to complete.

Even I don't speak germain, I'll describe it in three words : Won Der Ful 😉

Hello @ReldysLufriu . I'll just answer both your comments in one reply. No, I didn't learn any of this in school. I did learn the basics of Toon boom in terms of 'tradigital' animation, but nothing technical or rigging related. Most of what I know is from watching multiple videos here on youtube and mostly from experience in the industry. Just search for Harmony rigging tutorials here on youtube and you'll find some videos that will help you get started. Toon Boom also have online courses on their website learn.toonboom.com/courses. A studio called Sun and Moon studios also have some toonboom courses on their site as well sunandmoonstudios.co.uk/course/toon-boom-harmony-november2023/. You can also do your own research and see if there are more resources out there that will help you get started. Hope this helps!
