Felix Wright is my all time favorite safety I think it was 1987 when he snagged 9 int’s he was a great safety in our afc championship Run in the eighties.

FS has the MLB role on steroids. Walker and Takitaki’s job last year was to clean up any tackle the playmakers like JOK did not make. Thornhill’s job is to clean up everything that gets past the MLB and CBs.

Jordan Poyer was also great. But good lord, andrew sendejo gave us all ptsd about safety play. The Browns have had good safety play over the years going back to guys you mentioned like TJ Ward and way back to guys like Sean Jones. The issue is that its always someone different if they're good, or always someone different when they're bad. MEANWHILE, we've seen for decades every other team have an amazing safety like Ed Reed or Troy Polamalu who also happened to be two of the best to ever do it. So we have a warped idea of what the safety position truly is.
