Ju/‘Hoansi San of Namibia and the Acacia Tree

Walking with my San friend, apart from being a great storyteller, he is also a gardener in the mosaic of the wild. His language and culture carries an odour of sap, plants, tanned skins, stories and songs.
Here is a clip where he explains about his relationship to an Acacia Tree, which saved his life. Interesting detail: he believes that healing occurs not only from the plant or the tree, it also comes into effect from the person that hands you over the medicine - it has a different result according to the relationship you have with that person.
From the Dakota pipeline (I stand with the Sacred Stone Camp!) to the evictions in the Kalahari, and over the Arctic snows, the indigenous cultures are still standing as unbroken wildflowers.
