I took mine out and dumped 125 buckshots through it. Only failure was the first mag of the day. I set it to 1 and had a failure then bumped it up to 2 and it shot flawlessly after that. No matter how fast I pulled that trigger. Excellent value

The slow motion at 0:25 is awesome!!! I bought one of these in 2017. It klanks and clatters when cycling but soooo much fun to shoot!!

I impulse bought the M12AK-T1 at my LGS the other day (which I never do) but for $579 and the availability of shot shells it was a no brainer for me. You are correct in that it's super reliable and runs pretty much anything you want to shoot through it. The T1 version has an easier to adjust gas system and it looks awesome with the rail. great review, I highly recommend this shotgun.

Thanks for the review on this shotgun. I was having feeding issues not knowing it has a adjustable gas block. I did a video and was going to upload on my channel this week. I bought a JTS M12AR B1. Ran WInchester 1350 v, 8 shot 12gauge. Three boxes. Didn't experience one ejection jam. For a twelve gauge, the recoil is gentle. I'm 150 lbs, 511, thin, but have a solid stance, left firing. Lefty. My pervious experience with a AR15, US Army, M16A2. Also, before I joined, I carted a 12 gauge all over the Virginia Appalachian and fired hundreds of shells. I had no issues at all slinging this JTS. The recoil is nice actually, was much more comfortable than that old 12 gauge I used as a kid.. im going to say, there probably is not much difference between the AK and AR on how the rifle operates. I used 1350 v shells, I believe it is shells exclusive, but economically, 1350 v is a very common shell. They are inexpensive like a 9mm. Whereas other velocity shells, even though lower velocity might cost more. Make sure you purchase decent quality shells with harder plastic shell casing. Cheap lightweight plastic will shred and leaves residual pieces, which you will see other guys talking about this as if they are shocked, this is actually a normal of any shotgun. Remember this tip... almost all shotgun shells were not tested on a semi automatic rifle, they are all based for single shot or double barrel. One shot at a time. This is a shotgun, treat it as such, the idea of a shotgun is large group coverage so you don't have to waste a ton of ammo. These 8 shot will stop a bear. 2 3/4 1350 8 shot high brass...this gun loves them. Even though it's Chinese manufacted, it works very good. Totally worth the money

I have used the saiga mags 10rds,they work well,only problem,they are super loose and they my wear more over time due to how ends are made to clip in.I bought some actual jts mags 10rds from Gunmag Warehouse.As far as the other mags I'm sure they will work well.Never had any problems out of the shotgun.

Just bought one of these a couple of months ago. I love it. Added a sling and a red dot. Very reliable with any shot I throw in it. It sits next to my bed at night. Love it.love it love it.

All you need now is a couple of 10 round mags for it from the Mag Shack! Mag Shack sells them cheaper than any place else and they are authentic JTS mags.

I have the T1 version, more tactical looking, also have the RIA vr60, both are great. The JTS feels great. Does not look and feel cheap.

I bought mine yesterday, I only put 4 shots through it. Had some loading issues but I think it may be because I didn't hit the mag hard enough. But as for shooting so far so good.

The reliability is key with any semi shotty. Me personally would lean towards the Lynx 12 being it's Saiga 12 compatible w/ threaded barrel at the same price point. Thanks for sharing this changed my opinion on this firearm.

Ha ha right as I was abut to buy JTS, you sent me down another 3 hr rabbit hole. But after that I settled on the JTS instead of the lynx. I just liked the look of it better and you can buy a mod for $30 to fit Saiga mags/drums and other cool Mods.

Bought one two years back it’s fun kinda like a gag gun because I wouldn’t use it for hunting, but it is pretty fun to shoot and it was cheap . The forward stock makes it look cheap IMO . So if you want to blast pumpkins or have a few laughs shooting clay it’s worth it . Only con is it’s heavy and with a 10rd mag cumbersome keep that in mind

Leaving this here for prospective buyers, out of the box it runs flawlessly once you find the right gas setting and are using decently high power load. 00 buck and mili slugs have ran good, good first cheap ak, first gun ive dissasembled and reassembled myself and cheap. Would reccomend as a cheap fun gun. Looks sick as hell too, no thanks to 1000+ ak, though im not denying they probaably have better build and whatnot. Casual user here

The Range in MO has its stock of $539.99 every day. The foregrip can be modded to take pitacanny rails also. Both sides are easy nothing but drill holes. The bottom rail the nuts need to be ground down they are a hair too thick.

Wife ordered mine today for our anniversary. Can't wait.

@@stansmith4054 shoot. Sorry. Yes I've had it for a while now. Put mod max modded magwell on it so I can us a 20 round drum and it dumps it without any issues at all. I had to run a hundred or so rounds through it to break it in. It was catching the occasional ejected round of i shot target loads. Now it dumps anything I put in it without any issues at all.

I, as well. And I agree. It is awesome. I added a 2 round SGM mag and a 10 round SDS mag. They both had hiccups on the 1st mag full, but have functioned perfectly since. Just recently ordered a steel 10 round from Csspecs and can't wait to get it.

It's heavy, it's hungry, it's fast, it's hella fun, it's been pretty reliable with a variety of ammo including low brass. My round count is low(60), but so far, 1325 fps is the lowest I have gone reliably. It choked on some 1250, but I am optimistic that it'll run those eventually.

I just bought this and a panzer bullpen 12gauge. Didn't know which one to get so I got both lol. hurt the pockets for sure.

@@kamisesefaupula230 either is winning... jts is pretty long and reliable. Not recommend for people with short arms. for home defense bullpen because it is easier to turn corners and you get nice fore grips with places for attachments. Downside is it only take panzer clip. The jts can take others brand clips.

Apparently many people got a "good one". I bought one and in the first 5 rounds it mutilated two crimps. Barrel at top of receiver was not even with the shell guide and the shells would hit the barrel protrusion and the crimp would be mutilated. Shells at 1250 FPS did not cycle reliably. I ground the top of the barrel even with the shell guide, recleaned the entire system concentrating on taking apart the gas system, polished the bolt where it contacts the hammer and polished the rails. Mags and slugs run well on setting 1. Light loads 1250fps require a 3 setting. Seems the gun will run now.

Been very curious about these. There’s a local brick and mortar store by me that has a couple for sale at a very reasonable price (pretty much same as online). Looks like I’ll be picking one up

Once you figure out which setting for which load this will fire flawlessly.

I just got a AR12 Tokarav and plan on selling it ASAP to get one of these!!!! I'm already planning to get a Panzer M4 so can't wait to get them both..... It's just hard for me to find high power ammo locally and second I wanna be able to shit the cheap stuff as I can't afford to blow $10 after just 5 rounds lol

On sale for $499? That was the regular price at Academy. I got lucky the day I got mine. Academy had the last one for sale at $399. Runs Remington #4 shot, high brass very well with gas set on the 2 position.

Hopefully you get some PSA $s. Ordered an AK T-1 from Palmetto after watching this. Curious to see what optic you put on it.

Now I have only run birdshot through it so far. But I believe I have put it in the gas position 3 but every single shot out of it so far has been a failure to eject... unless I throw my body forward hard and then sometimes it cycles. Now its definitely not the way I'm shooting it because I'm 200lbs and put all my strength against it when I shoot it normally. Also I'm confused what do you mean by put the gas position 3 at the bottom?? Unless I'm wrong the only thing that moves the the selector for which setting you want. Not the gas block itself .

I traded in my radikal 12 ga ar 15 for this one. I couldnt be happier. This shotfun is fun and reliable. And its built better than my wasr 10 ak47 to. Go figure

If you are old enough to remember when China used to sell the ak's here then this feels very similar. Hell bent for tough once broke in never a jam and a price you couldn't beat. I seriously love my JTS 12. Best bang for the buck you can find. Except for the deal I got on my bullpup 12 gauge. Only paid $269 for it and the damn thing runs as good as the JTS.

Need 100 yard slug accuracy and a pistol/aow version! 😍

A rifled choke tube should make a 100 yard shot pretty easy.

The rail is mounted to the rear cover, but that cover is hinged in front and the back of the cover moves left to right. Long story short, mounting a scope to it is pointless, because the pic rail moves.

These shotguns are $249.99!! How they can sell them so cheap is insane, they even have an AR version that is on clearance for $199.99 at Palmeto State!

Beer man yeah I got a SGM tactical 25 round drum mag, but you have to modify the drum mag to make it fit tight. Their is a video that shows how to make it work on KZread. Just look up JTS ak12 drum mag modified

Impressed! with the video and shotgun! How is the top cover attached? Standard AK like or hinged? Want to know if it will be sturdy enough to stay put shooting slugs. Standard arrangements are not. I see it do not have a side rail so thats not an option. Love that gas system. Can you please shoot a video of the takedown. Can you show us some accuracy with slugs. Top cover is hinged. It is also kind of loose just like every other base AK. You could put a scope on but I don't see the point as the the hinged cover will move a lot especially when firing.

Hey bud 6:18 what kind of velocity ammo did you use I just bought one they said I need to shoot 200 rounds first to loosen it up first.

I haven't yet seen a video about this shotgun that mentions that the pistol handle has a built in compartment. I keep some foam earplugs in mine.

If you get one clean it with degreaser first like full tear down of gas system not trigger or bolt just gas system

Awesome review! I bought this shotgun and a Mossberg Maverick 88, both brand new, for $400 total. I love this shotgun. Do you know of any aftermarket parts besides the magazines? Btw, I read on a few forums that you need to keep this gun well lubed and it will flawlessly.

Mine stays dirty and still runs,I'm sure with a little modifications here and there depending on what you buy,some stuff will fit this shotgun.I know Carolina Shooters does a lot of shotgun Ak modifications.They have a website,check them out.

From my understanding so far. The pistol grip and upper hand guard are universal to ak. As far as the stock. It will take some modifications to fit but you will want a stock that is for a stamped reciever and have to shave off material to fit. Theres a guy on here that has a video on how to fit thr archangel stock

Hey guys, so what's the best rounds to cycle thru this? I tried 2 3/4 1250 7.5 shot today and every round jammed or wouldn't cycle on any gas setting. Was my fps not high enough for the bird shot?

Cheap ammo isnt always the best route try some high brass ammo and not any low brass or steel

Do the shorty 1 3/4" shells run in this (or any detachable mag) shotgun? It seems like the round underneath would keep the short shells from tumbling like they do in a pump.
