The driving pressure Eric gives off is palatable even through the screen. I can only imagine what some of the boys are feeling when they see the white EH bearing down on them. Some real Initial D vibes for sure.

Awesome as always. The wiring is sorted by now I suppose, but if not the issue is probably that the wire is too thin for the amps drawn by the pump. Make sure its proper OFC copper cable and not CCA. If wire quality and thickness is good, then it's the connector that cant handle the amperage.

Deutsch DT is rated at 13amps. That pump should be pulling 13amps at 3bar according to the website data sheet. Too close imo. DTP or 2x DT pins and run of 12ga should be safe for that pump.

So these are the larger DTP connectors and I figured one DTP should be enough to handle it. I also used quality wire but only at 16g.

I would estimate the 50 lbs is maybe a tenth per lap. So some impact, but not as much

Looking back, appears that there was too much amperage draw and the connectors are the highest point of resistance. I'm going to call it a faulted/shorted pump. I know you said its good but all the connectors overheating like that is def high current draw. I'm really surprised the fuse did not blow. (posting as I watch)

Yeah, that may have been the cause. I swapped the pumps regardless because I thought it was sus as well. The part where my fuses didn't blow surprised me too because they should have. So I need to look into that as well.

I run an exedy stage 2 and a 5/8 master. Its a tilton master within my pedal box, so totally different from a stock setup.

@@EricKutilRacing I see I see. Any tips on adjusting the cmc cos I find it hard to find the balance in between sweet biting point and the free play as well as the pedal height. Running a exedy 6 puk and a new oem ferio cmc

The reason that he touch the brake before the braking zone is to prepare the brakes and even make sure that the brakes are working? I ask from ignorance

Yes sir. From what I understand the idea is to make sure you have brake pressure and feeling in the pedal before you fully commit, and in some circumstances the brake tap is to seat the brake pad for the best "bite" possible.

For road racing, all motor without a doubt. Reliability and fewer issues with overheating
