First step is to practice your soldering, don't skimp on this step or have it done by a professional. Better to take the time rather then bork a board. having some type of magnification is nice but is sometimes not needed depending on eyesight/skill. Aside from that it's mostly personal preference to what type of Xbox 360 If going with a phat console stick to Jasper based motherboards. If going with slim/e consoles anything aside from a Winchester Board is exploitable with RGH3 but some Coronas (anything aside from V1-2) require a Postfix adapter. Best of luck on the Journey!

@@Josh.Davidson I know mate. As I prefer aud clamp since I always hit the jtag wires from the bottom of mobo. I just like the Boxxdr install as it looks cool. But bending & using alot of things to do the Boxxddr is aot of work. Just for the same function aud clamp will do. I guess I look at the installs differently. See where all the points are & alternative points & if I can simple it down. Without running long wires. But all in all the boxxadr is a cool looking way to do an install. It's just that you still have to run one wire under mobo. Where as you can just simple it & run everything from the bottom.

I did BOXXDR on my Halo 3 Zephyr. I did also do it on my JTAGable CPU swapped Kronos/Tonasket. I then removed it and used a TX QSB I had. On my Falcon JTAG I used the diode method and on the underside of the board too.

There's not much of an advantage to the old JTAG exploit aside from cool guy points. RGH doesn't have much of an advantage either, though. At the end of the day, they effectively do the same thing; allow you to boot a modified kernel.
