People only cared about DRose, Howard and still ongoing Celtics dynasty back then. Even Brandon Jennings and Bucks were 10x more hyped during that very short lasting BJ's fame and weird sudden downfall.

It just brings tears to my eyes, what a good fit Jrue has been for the Bucks and Bucks have been for Jrue ! One of my all time favorite players that I got to witness play for New Orleans. So glad he got a chance to win with Giannis and show how good he really is

Jrue is a straight up baller, he's got every trick in the bag, is extremely strong and crafty, and is finally starting to be more offensively agressive and call his number more, Jrue to me is this eras Chauncey Billups...both highly ranked HS, and draft prospect...that grew into there elite form later in there career....even though Jrue was 1 time an all star in philly and very solid player in Nola...he was viewed like like a Mike Conley very good non allstar, he's showing to be much more....Jrue is entering his prime...hes always been immensely skilled and gifted but for some reason never fully brought has complete package agressively together...However The Bucks have empowered him and unleashed the Jrue weve been waiting to see....All NBA players for years have been swearing how elite and complete Jrue is....were seeing why when Giannis was told by Bucks mgmt they could get Jrue for 4- 1st rounds picks he was emphatic they mustttt get Jrue no matter what- even though he and AD didnt win much....fans and analyst considered that pickup an over pay at the time...the move eventually turned into a title...Giannis has empowered and unlock Jrue elite side, a great player is supposed to make those around him there best version, not enough gets said how Giannis has brought the best out in Jrue and Khris...both were developed Stars. You can argue that the Jhrue the #2....even if Middleton regains form and serves as closer...Jrue is there 2nd most important player....also im not sleeping on Brook Lopez who is elite in his role. anywaysss Jrue

I’m a pelicans fan and I remember hearing I think from AD that Jrue does basketball drills in a weighted vest. That’s when I knew he was different. Jrue is one of the few that’s actually gotten better as he ages. Bucks lucky to have him cuz he’s humble.
