I guess the low ones for thick or wet hair, like towing something in a car and using a lower gear. If that makes sense’s, just ordered a pair so let’s see, been a magic clip person for last few years. So let’s see how they do. Btw new magic clips suck bad, they not same feel. I had to take my old ones and just refurnish them, the charge cord is different and the feel is too, feels way cheaper and cut like garbage.

@@thechristianbarber yeah before pandemic, they had a sale and were selling them for $50!!. I just keep switching blades and battery’s on old one, super easy wand cheap. But time to change it up. Been cutting since I was 15 and now I’m 33, only used like 5 clippers ever lol. Stuck in old ways

JRL is HANDS DOWN the best clipper in the market. Cutting 30-34 a day, and the JRL’s are just BUTTER! I have the instincts - and the glide/cutting power isn’t even close. Instincts closed cannot cut through Asian/ Hispanic bulk. JRL totally can. The angles of the JRL make the fade so easy. You can skip steps going from open to the 1 clip seamlessly.

I missed the deadline,. But I’m still going to subscribe and like because….. it was God that I became a barber and my church that helped me along the way, I knew as a single father that I couldn’t keep working these typical 9-5s, that I needed to son something that paid well but more importantly, gave me more time with my son! low speeds can cut the individual hair slower creating a "softer" look great video!

@@thechristianbarber no lie man I’ve wanted the instincts for a minute but 3 of the guys at the shop who got them all of their instincts completely stopped working 5 months in… completely dead. I want to see if the Instinct X is better?…. Or if they fixed all the issues because spending 200+ for a clipper to not work sucks… specially when you can’t afford to buy a lot of clippers lol.
