JPEG is a veteran and wants people to know the consequences of the military Note: jpeg never voices his problems in the military, we are all in serving with each other, we are all accountable for each other. no one serves today for America and if they do, they have done their job for the past 30 years. People today join for them, and you can’t blame them for that.

A lot of explanations leave out an extremely important detail: JPEG used the audio because it’s used in training police officers in the United States to shoot on site and shoot to kill. This exact video is used in police academies to encourage cops to escalate situations. The song is about cops shooting unarmed black men. That exact issue is partially because of that video. Yes, it’s shocking and disturbing, but I think with that added context it makes a lot more sense

Do you have a source on that? Source? A source. I need a source. Sorry, I mean I need a source that explicitly states your argument. This is just tangential to the discussion. No, you can't make inferences and observations from the sources you've gathered. Any additional comments from you MUST be a subset of the information from the sources you've gathered. You can't make normative statements from empirical evidence. Do you have a degree in that field? A college degree? In that field? Then your arguments are invalid. No, it doesn't matter how close those data points are correlated. Correlation does not equal causation. Correlation does not equal causation. CORRELATION. DOES. NOT. EQUAL. CAUSATION. You still haven't provided me a valid source yet. Nope, still haven't. I just looked through all 308 pages of your user history, figures I'm debating a glormpf supporter. A moron.

The cold calculated movements of the old man flanking the truck, the cops scream of sheer terror when he realizes he’s been flanked, and the audio cutting out from the shots and then finally silence. @@MrAKJUICY I hate the military and how the government chews up people like him and spits them out with no care for their health. Veterans are almost always afflicted with PTSD or other disorders that are treatable, but they are treated like garbage by the government afterwards and can end up just like the shooter in this video. Training a killer and then leaving them to deal with their mental health by themselves ALWAYS leads to disaster in one form or another. It’s not even just going to war. The military on its own is one of the most toxic places you can put yourself in. My family is being destroyed right now because of it. Just being around the military culture ages you, turns you into an angry, apathetic, nihilistic person and if you were already, it makes it 10 times worse. Stay far away from it.

Both my uncles who are police officers were ordered to watch this as training as an example to always shoot first which is horrible because it's literally a "violence begets violence" situation on both sides. Had to add this: I mean it was example on whenever someone even hints at pulling a gun an officer needs to put them down. Even verbally threatening to shoot an officer is enough to warrant an arrest or being shot if the officer doesn't know if you have a gun on you or nearby.

Yes it is, they are non-fataly injured by other people (i.e. any thing short of murdered) at over DOUBLE the rate of the next highest profession while still having a relatively high on the job fatality rate. Its called survivorship bias, they survive potentially deadly encounters more often than other occupations (who knew having a gun and ballistics vests would do that /s)

That's because those lists rank "danger" by deaths and only that. I'd be a different story if it included injuries, potentially deadly incidents, trauma, etc.

Funnily enough, this same clip is used as training in the Navy as what NOT to do during a situation like this. Deputy Dinkheller gave his killer a benefit of a doubt, even after he pulled out his rifle - which eventually lead to his murder. Few things to remember: if someone shows intent, capability, and opportunity - use of deadly force is authorized.
