I dont think he should get more famous. It is okay the way it is. He is doing what he loves the most. He can obvisously live of it. We dont need another Ed Sheeran or somebody who became so mainstream and commercial. JP Cooper is a Secret Tip and loved by people who really appreciate his unique talent 🙏♥️

I know people where I'm from in the USA think that I'm stupid for not liking more American Artists because i listen to like 90% British artists, but in my honest opinion most of the American artists are trash only a small amount have the talent and that talent goes unnoticed which is ridiculous.

JP Cooper deserves more recognition. The guy is absolutely flawless. His voice, his personality, everything. You can tell that he genuinely enjoys singing not just for himself, but for others around him. He has heart, he has soul, and a good mind. The guy just got married too. (In 2019 that is.) I hope to hear him live one day and the day I hear JP on the radio owning the top 100 billboard charts, I’m gonna lose it. The man is straight talented. The man is real. Keep it up JP.

I've listened to this hundreds of times over the last several years. When this came out i was literally OVER THE MOON. Admittedly i've not kept following JP as much probably since he brought out all this love and others as it didn't quite hit me personally like his songs before. Thats not to say that the "We Were Raised Under Grey Skies" album and many of the songs he brought out weren't so beautiful. His live lounges of ex factor, his acoustic and stripped down sessions are something i cant help go back to listen to when reminded of moments in my life what were filled with his voice. He helped me feel again when i either couldn't or i was scared to. JP Cooper was my safety net for a long time to bleed emotions that i couldnt handle alone. Im sad to see theres no upcoming events or tours planned on his site at the moment. Makes me wish i tried harder to see him back then. Ive got notifications for any future concerts or tours and cant wait to bring my partner whos never heard him along with me. Fingers crossed! 🥺 One last note- musics a strange thing sometimes. When our lives improve sometimes the music was helped us hurt and feel and deal with the situation at hand have to be left there for a while. Until were strong enough to hear them again. I had to stop listening to JP later on in my healing process. Ive reminded myself of the songs i used to love only probably yearly until recently. Im now strong enough to listen to him again, to remind me of what his music meant and what was going on in my life at the time and im grateful for my progress and to enjoy it all again in a new way whilst acknowledging the past 🥺 Other than We were raised under grey skies, my favourites were always In the silence and Satellite. Sorry its a long comment 🥺😊 -Jack.

I can't smell the roses No, I haven't for some time And I guess I'm striking poses Every time I step outside I keep on running Try to beat it with a bottle I thought four was plenty but now they're all empty I pulled back those curtains And I let the sun in again It's like I saw morning for the first time And she welcomes me like a friend And when you spend so long hurting You can forget to believe in grace Too many conversations with the burden Got me crying out loud for change Broken bathroom mirror I've not used it for a while Been avoiding my reflection That's a symptom of denial I recognized myself today Little steps, little steps we take Threw away the empties, boy, there were plenty I pulled back those curtains And I let the sun in again It's like I saw morning for the first time And she welcomes me like a friend And when you spend so long hurting You can forget to believe in grace Too many conversations with the burden Got me crying out loud for change I don't know where this goes And I don't know how it ends All I know is that I'm changing And I won't look back again I don't know where this goes (I don't where this road is taking me) And I don't know how it ends (and I don't know if I'll ever find my peace) All I know is that I'm changing (I know something's changed in me) And I want her back again (and it happened when) I pulled back those curtains And I let the sun in again It's like I saw morning for the first time And she welcomes me like a friend And when you spend so long hurting You can forget to believe in grace Too many conversations with the burden Got me crying out loud for change I pulled back those curtains And I let the sun in again It's like I saw morning for the first time And she welcomes me like a friend And when you spend so long hurting You can forget to believe in grace Too many conversations with the burden Got me crying out loud for change

I feel so ashamed and out of touch that I only discovered JP Cooper tonight's 4th September 2021. I was watching AGT and heard one of his songs play at yhe end of the show.....Me?.... Quickly searched and it's 3 hours I've been at it discovering the perfect voice ever. He is beyond brilliant. He's so great, his music is haunting and it reminds me of my dear late Prince Rogers Nelson.....that big a legend and genius......do I make sense?
