Great videos Kino! I too am looking to purchase an Azub Ti-Fly 26 with the Shimano e-drive. Do you have any videos or writings where you talk about how you came to the decision to purchase an Azub? Happy with the purchase? Would you change anything? Cheers!

Hi Carl, thank you. And no, I don't have any video or writing explaining why I chose an Azub. I should do a video like that at some point (probably this winter, when I will reach Turkey). To explain it quickly, I chose this bike for the comfort of having a proper seat, for the better position for the body, to enjoy the landscape, to limit the risk of falling, and also because it's much easier to put a heavy load on a bike like that, while the handling of a normal bicycle becomes difficult when loaded with heavy paniers. So far, in general, I am very happy with the purchase, even though it's electric, it works very well even in the heavy rain. The bike went upside down a few times already, and despite that, the bike is still working as if it was new. I went a few times on very bad roads, and despite the steering system being hit several times strongly by stones on the ground, it still works perfectly, so I would say it is a very robust bike. On the down side, the bike is very close to the ground, so it's not made to go off road, for me it's really a road bike... there is always the risk of breaking something at the bottom of the bike when going off road. And the biggest drawback to me, is that it is bigger than what I imagined, and it is very heavy, and I can't really carry it by myself, so on a tour like I am doing, it makes your life a bit more complicated when it comes to looking for a place to stay, as you always need a place to park it, and also you can't, or it is very complicated to put it in a train or a bus. So in this sense, a conventional bike would make my life much easier (especially for hotels). But in general, very happy with it, it's such a pleasure to ride it. Hope that answers your questions. Cheers
