The first one, He was pretty much wishing death on others that he felt didn't deserve to be alive when others died. This second one, he said "Let's try something differently" and instead of wishing more lives to be taken, he's wishing for time to be "rewinded" or just things having different outcomes.

I don't like this one at all, he's removing all accountability from most of those situations and blaming God. Then switching it up to say it the devils work, which is confusing,at least for me. Also the part about making Chris rock make a different joke is absolutely ridiculous lol
Can't wait for Bizzles response 🔥 🔥

@@MiddleAgedBob what exactly did Ye say that was so bad? Don't give me the "He called Hitler Good" or whatever. There's context behind that publicized phrase
It's difficult to compare the two because they are fundamentally different. This one reflects more on trending topics over the last several years while the original focuses more on who died vs. who should be dead and just hits harder because it's done with so much emotion. This piece is bold on its own because he makes his stance perfectly clear on several major topics while most people in the mainstream skate around it with generic, lawyer-proofed comments. No one can deny the man's talent tho. Minor detail Stevie... the title says "How did IS stack up?"
Yeah Bizzle heard this one and said “This one don’t even need a response.”

Sadly underwhelmed. After the Christian rapper bizzles response to the 1st Devils work song which was 🔥 I had really hoped that you might come back with something fresh and awe-inspiring. Unfortunately I think it's probably best if you just left the pen and paper in the desk for this one Joyner. But no disrespect, you are one of my favourite rappers. Thank you, Stevie . Always gold from you man

Amen, because he still ain’t gettin it….doesn’t wanna take any accountability for sin. So it’s God’s fault? And the thing is there are people who would consider themselves saved and get hype for this trash content that is antithetical to a biblical anthropology of man and ultimately the rejection of our Holy God. Key word HOLY
Exactly! How I feel. Some of the stuff he touched on sounded like he didn’t do his research but he put it on this track so either he purposely being ignorant or in his feelings but w.e it’s soso

I had the exact same reaction as you Stervie. EXACT same
This guy be doing his own style.. and he masters it
If you listened to this and heard what Bizzle said in the rebuttal to the 1st, Joyner aint heard anword that was said. This was basically a dedication track.
We have free will. We dance with sin and expect no consequences. 😔
I knew you wasn’t gone like it soon as he called Candice owens on her bs 😭😂
Maybe the energy in pt. 2 wasn’t matched with pt.1 because Bizzle came and destroyed Joyner in his response track ? This wasn’t bad to me but after hearing Bizzle’s response to pt. 1 it’s completely unmatched now in my opinion 🤷🏽♀️
I would like to see Bizzle respond to this one like he did the first one real talk!!
about time dang !!!
To me it’s still a good song.. most artists can’t even put together a song this good. Comparing to first takes away from it. It’s not the same concept and he was not wishing death on anyone. Regardless great artist and well put together song that shows respect to those that passed and wishing better decisions were made in events that impacted lives.
Sad to see that Joyner has allowed himself to be misled with propaganda. I like the track, it sounds cool but jesus is he seriously confused on some things.
Been waiting LETS GOOO
Glad I am not the only one on this boat. I thought something was wrong with me when I felt the song was underwhelming

I'm glad you said it. I feel like everyone was riding him on fb. Just wasn't the same, not the best energy. I knew we would get nothing but a real reaction from you. Love his first one, though. He was reaching on this one.

Reaching? 😂 u mean farther than u are rn about his own song? Ok 💀
I've realized we do ourselves a disservice when we always comparing things. I rather just enjoy things for what they are. Like for movies very rarely do we say the sequel is better than the original. Plus Joyner took a different spin on this one. Those Kobe lines hit me
I prefer the 2nd
I feel like it's the stages of grieving frfr. First one he was angry and now he's bargaining. If you stop comparing and think about how a person literally would be in this situation it makes sense. It's literally a story of grief manifesting in someone drinking. You get angry, then you start crying and bargain. Listen to them back to back and see if you hear what I'm talking a oht
I feel this was just as good as the 1st one because hes now coming from a different angle of turning time back instead of trading a life for another life which kinda shows how he has matured in a way. I understand we say kill this person instead but saying trade this person for that person makes us no better then the person we want traded out. I admit it didnt hit me as hard as the 1st one but after listening to it a few times i get where he comes from when addressing the big topics thats occurred over the years and some topics i didnt agree with but i will respect it. Thanks Stevie keep up the great work. Bless x

I like the concept but yeah I won't have it on repeat. But I'm hoping that this album be like ADHD part 2 since Devil's Work part 1 was on ADHD. Nearly every song on that album was 🔥 in my opinion!

I didn't like what he said about Candace Owens, because I f*** with Candace and there was a few other things I disagree with but there was I did agree with. Other than that I thought the song was ok.
I was ready to hear your reaction to this song but you really let your own beliefs kill this reaction. This song was very creative and great from the stand point of not killing other people like the first one, but changing the past to help the present. You were out on this song after he talked about Chris Rock changing his joke. Just by watching a lot of your reactions I could tell your energy change and you were done with it.

Brit needed to pay her time, she needed to pay for her stupidity, trading her ignorant ass for a gun running lord this shit ain't getting through to me. "OK Let's see what are you are upset about today." ... Get comfy.
I agree 100% brother!!
You had the same exact reaction as me stevie.. the first one is a bop and feels so much more passionate
Each to their own. I personally think this is far more mature and less hateful than devil's work. You should never wish death upon somebody because you're mad, especially if you're religious. You can really feel the pain in this song. I cant understand how people don't like it 🤷♂️
Aye Stevie if you ever find yourself in Del Mar I gotchu some free tickets at Cinepolis!
His new album "Not now ,I"am busy " is dropping soon
I disagree with heaps he said in this. Sounded like he was tryna appeal to the masses by rapping bout things he knew the current agenda follows. Like the Britney gryner and will smith thing, like wtf lol
Stevie, the T is fire! 🔥
I already expected a reaction like this from Stevie. I know he's a bit conservative with his views but either way, at least he's honest and that's cool. Great video man.
I agree 💯 with you, I look at a few of the things he spoke about differently where on the original I felt every word. The energy just was not there like it was on Devil's Work. It was an aight song but nowhere on par with the first & some of his iconic thought provoking bangers. But who am I opinions are like .....

Me too bro can’t wait
After what bizzle did to devil’s work? Nah bruh.
Shouldn't have made this without acknowledging the response from Bizzle. Its killing me not seeing a single reaction video mentioning it either
TECH n9ne put me on to Joyner, as he did for many artists in this genre
Gid ain’t taking no one It’s our free will to talk shi on tracks that can get you killed, our free will to kill and our free will to literally do anything
feels more like shouting out recent deceased. Most of these death could have been prevented by the person themselves, but chooses to blame god instead is strange. Hope Bizzle does another song to this as God speaking again.
This just felt so forced. Like it was beating the race drum at the wrong time? I dunno the jada line, the Brittney greiner stuff, the George floyd stuff. It was either why are you bringing all that stuff back up or just flat out defending the bad side of the argument. Was weird. Failed the vibe check
I liked your reaction, Stevie! You seemed sincere to me as someone who has watched you develop different perspectives on a number of topics that Joyner touched on. Art isn't downstream from culture, but it informs it. Oftentimes, it's in songs like these that artists lose their popularity when they inject their worldview. They always do a great job of subtly addressing subjects without taking sides. As a fan with a divergent viewpoint, I will feel attacked rather than entertained when they do that. Eventually, you lose interest in their art, and that's sad! It's even true with much of Hollywood, You watch a movie or a show these days and as fans, we are constantly being patronised and talked down on.
Yea it feels like he was holding back on this one since he got a lot backlash on the first from the media.
Haha had the same reaction as you Stevie. Dont agree with alot of what he talking about in this one. Sound like he sleep and need to wake up. Sucks cuz im a fan of joyner but he lost me on this one. Bummer
Joyner is really out here discussing the evil paradox within religion without realizing.
@KingMjs_day

This had nothin to do with religion. Moreover it highlighted Joyners ignorance and fallacious thinking and perishing worldview that doesn’t exalt God in any way.
I love Joyner, but his liberal views are terribly wrong 😂
Just because it's Devils Work 2 doesn't mean they should be compared. They're 2 separate songs, with two separate premises, that simply share the same over arching concept.
SN got turned off when JL was talking about Candice Owens 🤣
You want violence he explained in his opening line if you were listening he said he gonna do it different this time
Damn the Joyner hate is strong with this one. I liked 2 better than 1
I was worried about this as I really dont care for sequel album/singles. Thought is was dope but not as strong as the 1st one.
I wonder if Joyner heard Bizzles response to the first one and might’ve influenced how he came at this one. Nevertheless I loved it.
I can see you were uncomfortable with this song because he touched on some of the topics you covered that were totally opposite of your pov. I felt uncomfortable watching you! That's just how noticeable it was😳
