Honestly. I think it's different on Spotify because it would be hard to differentiate the two different characters with audio-only. On the video you can see the two different suits speaking, however on audio-only you don't see each of them talking, making it harder to know who is talking when. By not going with detectives and going with his "mind" you can guess the two sides of his brain going back and forth.

In response to your question “find you one other rapper that can story-tell like Joyner can”, I think Hopsin, though not as vivid a storyteller, still does a good job of storytelling in some of his songs and music videos, notably All Your Fault and Ill Mind 8. Die This Way’s music video hit hard too though the lyrics were unrelated. Joyner’s still the best storyteller though imo
