We didn't lose games due to the Offense. We lost cause we couldn't stop any team on the final drives of the game. If the defense is improved it will change the whole dynamic of this team.

Alabama is stacked, if no injuries I expect them to right in the top 5 teams, if Milroe can be the player I think he is there is a strong chance to be playing for the Natty in my opinion, or if Simpson steps it up

But which qb is it cause they both don't look good. If Bryce was coming back this year I think Bama would be scarier but now I don't know

@@user-vg8ht2fe8c They don’t need a Bryce for this team to be successful. It’ll be run first oriented and the pass will compliment it. All the QB needs to do is protect the balls.

@@stophittingyourself123U mentioned Coker. Coker won the Natty in 2015. It wasn't all Derrick Henry that year. U mentioned Maze in 2011. Well, they won the Natty in 2011. It wasn't all Richardson & Lacy that year, either. Sounds more like confirming they have the ingredients to win the Natty this season, RTR.

All Georgia had to do in 2022 was let their talent work for them and play conservative on both sides of the ball. Their OC knew exactly how to work it. It wasn't rocket science, they just didn't need to hurt themselves in a year no one could match their talent. Alabama is doing something similar in 2023 and going to try and protect a young QB. AND Saban finally got rid of bad coaches on both sides of the ball he kept too long.

Not a Bama fan, but i got Bama winning the natty, and depending on who stays i have them going back to back, remember booker only a sophomore, pair him with proctor who will be a soph next year that’s a cornerstone for your oline! You have Haynes and young at running back, and 3 outstanding receivers in bond, law and prentice! Oatis, and james smith will anchor you dline along with Payne, man Bama is loaded for the next 2 years, idc who’s playing qb!!

Alabama's offense would be inconsistent at times and no doubt the run game wasn't but as Suttles said that was due to style of play. What killed Alabama was 4t qtr defense. I saw a stat where Bama was like 5th in the country in 3rd down effeciency in the 1st qtr and like 82nd in the 4th qtr. It's like coaches just tried to keep it close until the 4th qtr and then would expose Goldings weaknesses. there was no way UT should gone 50 yds in just two plays and LSU QB basically running in untouched from 25 yards out with 9 defenders on the wrong side of the field.
