@@premiumfingerboarder I was actually thinking about getting that same deck and I'd like to get some translucent griptape that can actually Dark Slide. I've only found Gecko Black and Gecko Translucent on the Teak Tuning site so far that seems to work for it. That or just stick with a piece of sandpaper like what Techdecks come with. I'd rather have more Gecko but I'm hoping to find an alternative because it seems to pretty much stay out of stock.

What do you recommend for a first board upgrade from a tech deck? Not trying to spend $100, but I want to upgrade!

I would recommend a few company's. On the cheaper side like 15-30 is Teak tuning. Then in a higher standard would be a flatface deck or a catfish deck for around 45-60. If you would like some mor info let me know Id be happy to help you out!!

@@premiumfingerboarder hell yeah! Ok I’ll check those out. Is there really that big of a difference for the $20. I just discovered they made premium boards. I’m old, I played with tech decks as a kid, now my kids love them, but they kinda suck! I want some pop! Teak looks like a good starting point. Are there completes good? Or should I piece one together? Sorry for so many questions but you seem to be knowledgeable

LC is a great company as well, check them out. Great entry point into wood setups. You can get one starting around $20 that is way better than a techdeck
