2 years later, her OST on a drama is a great hit, top 10 in melon and had 1M unique listeners in genie. The current (only) female artist with two songs in melon top 10

i agree! i am also thinking of lemonade too. her voice is so refreshing and sweet. if joy's voice has colour, it would be yellow. just like how kyuhyun to me has velvety voice, his voice would be soft pastel brown to me tasted like chocolate caramel (less sugar), onew has an orange sound and iu would have bright red colour for her voice.

I was highly doubtful of Joy’s singing voice especially because she debuted under a vocal powerhouse company but felt like she didn’t came from there. After watching WGM, I realized I was wrong lol she just have a unique sweet voice thats rare to find in any kartists. This performace proves she deserves to be under SM after all.

This is why I stan Joy! She's full package!😍 she can act, sing and dance! She also has a good personality that everyone loves! Iloveyou sooyouuung you are the one😍😍

I can't find a single word that can descride her unique voice. I would use "crispy", bcs whenever i hear her voice it gives a happy and fresh feeling in my heart, just as crispy apple. SM artists tend to have a distinct voice's colour.

Nu Sugiyono that’s always how I’ve described both her and seulgi. They somehow have these beautiful crystal clear voices that punch through in such a clean way. Hitting high notes without sounding strained or screechy, that’s what bugs me about a lot of idol singers... the high notes can sound so forced and can be hard to listen to. But Joy and Seulgi are never like that and their beautiful vocal color stands no matter what. They have such refreshing, crisp voices!

I don’t know how to explain her vocal tone and voice; it’s like clear sharp water if that makes sense😅 I just love it and her💚💚
