Journey to the Summit of the Future: Our Common Agenda and Long-Term Sustainability
Join us for an engaging and thought-provoking discussion on the ‘Summit of the Future and shaping Our Common Agenda’, with Michelle Griffin, Director of Policy Planning in the Office of the UN Secretary-General. This event is held by the Knowledge and Learning Commons, UN Geneva in collaboration with SDG Lab. Taking a seat to discuss the intersection of the 2030 Agenda, multilateralism, and long-term sustainability.

In this event, Michelle will provide insights into “Our Common Agenda” report, a documentation written by the UN Secretary -General in response to the urgent need for greater solidarity and trust at all levels. She will address how this report calls for changes in our global approach to address the challenges faced by Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the broader international community.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of the proposed tracks and policy briefs that will form the foundation of the ‘Summit of the Future’ taking place in September 2024. These tracks include future generations, global shocks, meaningful youth engagement, the global economy beyond GDP, international financial architecture, digitalization and technology, outer space exploration, a new agenda for peace, education as a global public good, and advancing the UN into the future.
The event will explore what success looks like for the Summit of the Future and the legacy it aims to leave behind. The importance of trust, solidarity, and collective action, as well as the role of individuals and Member States in driving meaningful change.
Join the discussion as we embark on a collective journey to shape a better future, where the interests of present and future generations are prioritized, and global governance works for the benefit of all. Together, let’s pave the way to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals through fostering collaboration and multilateralism.

Yep. Another piece of the end time prophetic puzzle will be in place! Daniel chapter 9 Verse 27: "THEN HE SHALL CONFIRM A COVENANT WITH THE MANY for one week (7 years), But in the middle of the week (3 1/2 years) He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. (in the rebuilt Jewish temple in Jerusalem) And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate.” Emphasis and parentheses mine) Bottom line: This one world leader and all who follow him are TOAST! Come to Jesus now before it's too late folks.
