I did a bit of shamanistic journeying to the drum 20 years ago and - though I was a total sceptic - the experience was the most vivid of my entire life. I strongly recommend all sceptics to try it - you could have the experience of a lifetime.

It is wonderful to know that she is journeying with a Remo Buffalo synthetic Fibreskyn Drum 16 inch. I just bought one and it's yin sister Bahia black Buffalo drum, very deep bass.. They are powerful and durable and full of spirit. I recognised the grip at the back and the rope at the sides. Remo has since updated the rope handle. Beautiful Journey

Thank you for this. I'd been using a deer hide drum with a really loose and unsecured stretch over the drum base; just letting the cured hide dry when pulled into position - it gives a deep and earthy timbre, more boom than beat and has good effect in my work, but listening to your drum work instantly took me to the start of a journey. I'm awed. Keep up the good work.

I took the journey alongside the video. It was very interesting. I started on foot and instantly found myself wearing Native American attire. I quickly realized I wouldn’t get far by walking so I called my power animal for help. Deer showed up alongside with a bunny and a frog who also wanted to join in. It got me a bit confused but why not. I grabbed the bunny, and the frog and hopped onto the deer’s back. We didn’t get far when it crossed my mind that taking flight would be even better. Instantaneously a beautiful black Pegasus showed up. I felt a bit guilty to leave my power animal and hope on the Pegasus. But my beautiful Dear stopped, got me onto his antlers and literally threw me onto the back of the Pegasus. We took of, flew for a little bit and landed in front of the opening into a cave. I proceeded inside, at that point getting a bit anxious I might never find this Heart of the World before the drumming is over. Would I even recognize it if I found it? But the thought of the drum placed me in front of a fire. Now I’m dancing to the drum around the fire. The only thing I can see are my bare feet on the ground. At this moment I’m having a realization that I’m back with my body and I have the knowledge that the heart of the world is inside MY OWN HEART❤️! It was here with me all along. This realization sent a wave of love through my hart and it swelled with joy. The drumming has changed and it’s time to come back. Do I need to retrace my steps back? I did a big circle and came to my own heart after all. I was already back here.

I followed the ball - we both fell into a deep tunnel. then a native looking man appeared, I saw him looking into my eyes. the journey ended with a child - i saw a boy sleeping, he had black hair with red feathers. life energy ran through them and gave him superpowers. thank you for this wonderful experience!!!!

There must be more joy evoked from her presence to truly guide alignment of The Spirit and the Souls attending... this should have also been done outside barefoot on Sista Earth with a medicinal / sacred drum. I would also suggest that - altho it is improper grammar to say it this way - accompanying you on your journey is your own Higher Self. Develop a method of communication and/or exchange between your Lower Self (the person you experience as "I" right now) and your HS, and create the intention together to stay together and this will help prevent you from being drawn away by any (for lack of a better term...) alien agenda. They will protect you when you are "out of your mind".

I speak for most when I said as an indigenous person there is no feeling to the drum when there are no words. The reason why we as native people sing is becuz we are the voice for grandfather drum as we ustilize his heart beat to dance too. Just how I fell. To me this is not sacred. And alot of indigenous peoples from Mexico on down sing with their drums just as us norther natives do.

Everything is sacred ...light and sound are interrelated, words carry vibrations, too for sure, no one is "better" or "worse" we Are frequency, energy, light... sure our own voices hold and create resonance....and x wow what power in group song....sometimes I think its probably a good job some folk havent learned how to sing together....they might damage stuff🤣 my heart is altered by aboriginal song, Welsh choirs, Hawaiian song, I can literally feel it ♡ and if I use my voice, it feels healing, especially with movement...each energy Centre in our body has a tone to wobble about with, so cool 🥰🌻

actually the name Shaman came from a Tungusic language, which originated in Asia. on the other hand, Shamanism is perhaps the oldest and widest spread spiritual activities on the earth. it's discovered on every continent except for Antarctica. thirdly, Shamanism is not for everyone, or you could say only some people can access shamanic journeys. Dr. Robert Sapolsky gave a very great lecture on what kind of people can experience this kind of journeys. finally, what matters is the SOUND (frequency, beat, etc.) of the drum, not the style.

Where can I access that great lecture of "what kind of people can experience that kind of journeys" you mentioned in your post? I´d like to read it / hear it if possible. Thanks.

Sounds like a kid with a wooden spoon and saucepan. You would really have to work yourself up into a lather to trip on this noise.

This is hillarious, people pulling out their plastic credit cards to listen to a fake women play her fake plastic drum. People like this should feel ashamed for misleading people.

Being a drummer for over 50 years, it can drive me nuts listening to people, like this, who are not drummers with their micro-timing and sound dynamics shifting all over the place as they drum. Far from trance inducing for me because of this changing rhythm. It doesn't matter what your intent is, if you do not have the ear and the fine muscle control to play a very simple rhythm like this, don't present yourself as capable of trance drumming.

Hi.. This kind of drumming is really different to drumming on a music stage, not that either is better or worse, but her intention and experience doing that work holds the space to go deep. blessings

So, according to you, the drum master, one cannot drum unless one is a drummer. Shamanic drumming isn't about making sound dynamics or pretty sounding music, it's about beating the drum, however you feel like, in a certain rhythm using your intuition as a guide to take you into a trance state. please, refrain from judging others, you look silly. good day
