I born islam and practiced strictly islamic life style since then. My age now 54 never in my life drinking alcohol never gambling never have sex except with my wife. I have a son and two daughters. I have beautiful life and family. But when i hear to your story becoming islam tears in my eyes. Congratulations to you my brother for embracing islam and not chasing material world no more. Money is important but after islam we chasing money is not to satisfy us only but to do more for charity so that we can get continues or endless rewards into our grave after we die. 19 minutes in - this......THIS is what needs to be discussed, precisely. Thank you both so much I grew up in NJ, in the US, and I can absolutely say that it's essentially *taught* to fear Islam, more or less...that anyone who aligns with Islam is more likely to be simultaneously extreme and negative, sociologically(?). -/- The more I have been able to speak with foreign people from the east, and study all different ideologies from the regions (including Buddhism, Hinduism etc.) the more I have realized that I was taught next-to-nothing of value regarding foreign beliefs. I have achieved a sort of reverance for these different things in recent years because of exactly the points you both make around here. I have certainly heard and seen the most humane and most...manly(?) behaviours of truly handling things, and fairly for all, coming from the East infinitely more than I have seen it from the West (specifically in religion). Islamic Imams have certainly given much more guidance to the public, to humanity as a whole, in my eyes...... Look at how the pope recently invited a bunch of Transitioning people to the Vatican... (Not diving into that, just for reference of the disconnection with their own values.) I really wish I knew Arabic..... The language is honestly pretty beautiful, and the Quran only elevates this fact.

If God wills, we find Islam of Abrahamic Monotheism and Creed, not corrupted Hadiths of Abu Huraira et al. The Quran is the Hadith of God (all of it are His words), and things happen in this world according to His ways (nothing is independent of Him). Nothing is equivalent to God, His Power, His words etc. Time to walk faithfully with God alone, embrace Salat (daily prayer), Zakat (alms giving), sawm (fasting) and so on, but it is more than all of this, we have to give up on all idols e.g. ego, wealth etc. ... waman asdaqu mina Allahi Hadithan.[Quran chp 4 ver 87] falam yaku yanfauhum imanuhum lamma raaw basana Sunnata Allahi... [Quran chp 40 ver 85]

Assalamualaikum brother, Is Haram for men who wear necklaces and bracelets like women, I hope you don't wear them anymore, and the name of Allah is not a toy that you can add as a necklace, and if non-Muslims see them they will think that Muslims are just like them wear jewelry like the cross that Christians always wear, don't resemble any of those people if you don't want to belong to them, you are the warner and be the warner not something else, may Allah have mercy on all Muslims in this world Inn Shaa Allah.
