Sydney's always a riot. She always looks so serious on the track that you'd never know she's a bit of a goofball.
That’s one legendary team! Imagine each of team at their peak running their fastest recorded splits: Sanya Richards-Ross (48.43), Allyson Felix (47.72), Sydney Mclaughlin-Levrone (47.9), Florence Griffith-Joyner (48.0) 🙌🏿
Sydney needs to be known more in this world! Praying in the end is everything! 👏🏾
Sydney's fantastic. 💯💯 "It's what I do, not who I am." This is key.
She's authentic and ambitious young women with good judgment despite her success. So inspiring!
I feel like Wallace Spearmon asked some damn good questions. I had never heard him interview anyone but he has a unique perspective based on his own success in the sport plus he still seems humble and real. Would like to hear him do more interviews.

Wallace used to co-host a sports radio show in Arkansas. He has a lot of time behind the mic.
Sanya, Allyson, Sydney, and Flo-Jo on a 4x4 - Deadly! Keep Valerie Brisco, Athing Mu, Dalilah Muhammad, and Jearl Miles-Clark on deck

Been watching when she first went to Kentucky and then in the Olympics . She’s American Treasure for the sport of track n field . When I was in college the best men were Jim Bolding was running 49’s over the intermediates. Now the world record is 45 something over the hurdles while Sydney ran 50.8 . Incredible
I truly enjoyed this interview. I wish that more people could see this side of Sydney, she is a joy.
McLaughlin-Levrone is married to Andre Levrone Jr. (born March 9, 1995), who graduated from the University of Virginia in 2017 and played parts of three seasons as a wide receiver in the NFL before leaving the league. Levrone and McLaughlin announced their engagement on August 25, 2021, at the Four Seasons Resort, Scottsdale. They married at Early Mountain Vineyards in Madison, Virginia on May 5, 2022. McLaughlin-Levrone is a Christian. She and her husband are part of Grace Community Church in Los Angeles, and Andre is enrolled at The Master's Seminary, which is affiliated with the church.
I am SO IMPRESSED with our USA Athletes.... Especially Sydney: She is Smooth and Balanced: Mentally, Physically, Spiritually, Joyful, and God Centered!!!!
She's a special kind of girl, so centered and with a plan. God bless her....!
15:12 Wallace is lovin' the sauciness. 😆
Her wisdom comes from her foundation. A true role model.
Two great athletes in your own rights AND excellent interviewers! Great job!
Can't wait for the showdown with Femke Bol at the Olympics and I hope she wins.
How do bye rules work in the Olympics and USATF Olympic Trials? Does McLaughlin-Levrone have a bye in the 400m hurdles at any point as defending Olympic champion or not?

No byes for the US athletes. Top 3 at the trials go to the Olympics as long as they have the Olympic standard or are high enough in the world rankings. Sydney actually had to run a meet in ATL to get the Oly standard for the 400mH because she didn't run the event last year. Now she has to place in the top 3 at trials to go to the Olympics.
Absolutely love this chick!!!
Good to see Wallace...Whaa Gwaan Wallace?🇯🇲
Let's make the gummy bear deal happen! 👍
We need her in the 800 like yesterday
God bless her
Last year when she ran that 400m and ran the first 200 like a 200m race i said it looks like her coach was testing her to see how competitive she could be over the 200 and someone said i was crazy and don't know track. Now i can know that competing in a 200 in a championship is in her near future.
Sydney Michelle McLaughlin-Levrone is an American hurdler and sprinter who competes in the 400 meters hurdles. She is the 2020 Tokyo Olympic champion with the Games record, and 2022 World champion with a world record time of 50.68 seconds. Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone's exceptional talents are undoubtedly inherited from her family's athletic background. Her father, Willie, made the 400m semi-finals at the 1984 U.S. Olympic trials. Her mother was a middle-distance runner with older brother Tyler winning 400m hurdles silver at the 2016 IAAF World U20 Championships. However, Sydney has surpassed them all. From the start, it was clear that McLaughlin was on a journey to make history. At 16 and while still at high school, she finished third in the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials in a new world junior 400m hurdles record of 54.15. That saw her become the youngest American track and field athlete to qualify for the Olympic Games since the boycotted Moscow 1980 Games. McLaughlin made the semi-finals at Rio 2016, but her potential was obvious. After one year at the University of Kentucky, McLaughlin turned professional in June 2018. Just over a year later, she took silver behind Olympic champion Dalilah Muhammad at the Doha World Championships.
4:00 I'd love to read some of Sydney's poetry!!
I really think Sydney ought to take a chance and try out for the 200m at US nationals. Her times are good.
Haribo gummy bears 😂
Crazy to think Syd isnt the fastest 400mh Olympic champion over 200m. That'd be Irina Privalova (21.87)

The part thats so backwards is wanting kids to watch the sport instead of figuring out what their parents want to see so they introduce the sport to their kids. Football parents etc introduce the sport to their kids.
I want to see La Cid in a Smoking Aces Two. She is Holly Wood in spikes. Someone please cast her.
21:22 fax fax fax
She looks like the girl from Groove Theory
After Paris may be. Gummy bear.
News flash…Sydney you are great!!! You always honor GOD!!! Can’t wait to see you win the 400 meter hurdles and come back to secure the Gold in the 4x400!!!
🤍🖤💜🇺🇸🥇
Sydney so dang fine tho ❤
I love her but something is off...
