Journey To FET Day! My IVF Journey Update
Today marks day one of my journey to FET day! Welcome to another IVF journey update where I share what happened during my suppression check appointment. I explain the purpose of the suppression check, which is a vaginal ultrasound measuring the uterine lining and a lab draw measuring hormone levels to get a baseline before starting the IVF medication in preparation for the FET day (frozen embryo transfer day). I also give you a full update on my IVF Journey and how I'm currently feeling mentally and physically.
So cheers to starting my journey to FET day! I can't believe it's almost here! My transfer date is still July 1st, but that date can change depending on how my body responds to the IVF medications.

Thank you for sharing your journey. I just finished my birth control and will begin my fertility shots in a few days. You are so right about feeling alone during this journey but as you mentioned there are so many women going through what we’re experiencing at this very moment. Thank you for being brave enough to share your journey. I'm hoping to start my egg retrieval process next month after 2 failed IUI's and an ectopic pregnancy that required 2 doses of methotrexate. I am also an ICU nurse and am constantly searching for any and all information about this process- I like to be prepared for everything. I have learned a lot from your channel, thank you.

I’m so glad you’re finding my videos helpful❤️ It’s sometimes hard to share everything, but the thought of women feeling alone like I’ve felt for way too many years drives my motivation to keep sharing. And yay! Fellow ICU nurse!!🙌🏻 I can’t help but think that the stress of our jobs is one of the reasons for infertility 😔 So I just encourage you to take good care of yourself, listen to your body, and never forget to put yourself first above all difficult situations at work. Hang in there, keep staying strong, you got this!🤗❤️

Thank you for sharing! I am in the middle of my first IVF cycle. I'm still waiting for PGT results, so once that comes, I'll need to decide if it will be enough embryos to move forward with a transfer (mid July) or if I need to do another egg retrieval (I really hope not!). Wishing you the best of luck in a couple weeks.

Just found your channel, and I’m so glad I did. I start my meds on July 1st! I’m so nervous… meds were delivered yesterday, and I’m currently cd2 so they did an ultrasound and blood work. It’s so real now

@@brittany_elizabeth_rn just followed you on instagram! Saw that you live in Seattle… my husband was stationed at JBLM for a couple years starting in 2015 and that’s actually where we started our journey with a bunch of TI and IUI cycles. We used SRM. Such a small world

Thanks for sharing. I’m a nurse n I’m scared to do it too. I just ordered the automatic injectors n a lidocaine numbing cream, cldnt find a patch. My transfer is 7/26 I can’t wait
