He is a beast! Love my Steve Perry experiences; ( Escape and Frontiers tours) , Arnel brings the absolute spirit of the music! The musicianship is incredible today. But, those tours back in the 80’s were ground breaking perfection for the era. The technology of the sound system Herbie Herbert put together for this band and their talent was an industry benchmark! Life changing, and still to this day, the the live recording inHouston Texas 1981 was raw perfection in sound reproduction!

It’s not that they whoever they are can not accept AP ‘s nationality. It’s just that they can not sing, perform on stage, no personality, can not be idolized as AP is, they are unknown . They crave what Arnel is ! He is a good human being and blessed

don't forget that he is also 55 years old, that is some gift to retain his voice at such an old age, most rock stars cant even sing as good at 40 but man AP still rocking like he is in his 30s

Don't forget that he was also doing these songs for years BEFORE he joined Journey. Arnel was doing these songs well over 20 years ago with his bands in Manila!

Not Perry, but a great Filipino talent. They have gotten more Perry like somewhere else, but why find across the globe, in the East, no wonder they're the Journey. Four decades and still sharing there great music to the world till this day.

Anyway Arnel made a name fir himself and of course with the help of journey.. God really works in mysterious ways.. He took the opportunity and use his talents his voice to reach out to us..
