The doctor and mother are probably dead and the kid is most likely now a senior citizen.....think of how time flies that quick.

See how everything was simpler and wiser back in 1960. The relationship between the little boy and the doctor is heartwarming. That was a much healthier society. Our society has gone backwards.

That's you with rose colored glasses and your nostalgia talking. People like you who think the 1950s and early sixties were some sort of lost Golden Age obviously watched too much leave to beaver and Andy Griffind to pay attention or remember how it really was for most real people as it were.

@@BloodDracolich Don't think I'm a pro-Trump reactionary who longs for an all-white wealthy society. All the other way round. But you will never convince me that nowadays humans live better than those in 1960. Yes, we have made steps ahead in tolerance and acceptance of diversity, but we have lost even more in tens of other things. Only think of how more relaxed everyone was in his/her own job, you studied and you were sure to get an adequate position, while today people are immensely stressed and unhappy on the job. And for youngsters less than 40, finding a job has become very difficult, unless they accept 1000 $ per month (Mainly in Italy, my country). This issue has huge consequences on people's health. And also, coming back to the video, the physician's role was much more respected: today the only fact that he's inspectioning a little kid's body would make everyone scream the usual stupid words like perverted, pedophile, and so on. Fear, fear, huge fear of everything is the dominant feeling in the western world. Families have become enormously sticking to kids, spoiling their natural sense of freedom (this again mainly in Italy). And technology might have given us a lot of useful tools, but it has also made us much less intelligent (read statistics of qi's) and extremely more fragmented from a social point of view. If these are insignificant issues...

You know they were actors, right? This was a propaganda film to get parents to take their kids to the doctors. A lot of the information was correct and helpful at the time, but this was not a real doctor nor a real visit.

That film was copyright 1960. Let's say that little boy was 10 years old. So, born in 1950. If he's still alive he'd be 74 years old. His sister would be about 68 in 2024.
