I was running around the world when i met Arnel on my run in the Philippines in 1984. He eas at a pizza place called Shakers. As our team was walking past Shakers i heard this beautiful voice . I went inside and could not leave as i knew his voice was world class. We met many times and i told him one day the whole will know you and your voice .Arnel has another gift he has a beautiful heart which the whole world will come to see in time. Love from all my familly Arnel . Peter, Wanda , Koby, Kirstienne, Kirja..××××××××.

for a few years before the pandemic he used to sing a half step down, due to the bad sound he is hearing in his monitors. When they hired a new sound man, Arnel can hear a lot better so they went back to the original key.

JOURNEY is in the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame without Arnel Pineda. Therefore, Arnel has added to the group but there was a JOURNEY before him !

Arnel Pineda gave Journey a new lease on life. Journey is iconic but man has Arnel reintroduced their music to a new generation of fans.

Absolutely! And Journey should know that. What hurts is that when Journey was inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame they didn't include Arnel Pineda. The Journey members should've insisted that Arnel be included. RACISM in my opinion.

Yes, SP was with him too, but since he replaced Gregg Rollie, he right away made the album ESCAPE, then hits after hits followed, an iconic musician, keyboardist, and great songwriter too!!! ** Journey is really lucky to have recruited Arnel Pineda who remains loyal to the band for 16 years (2007-2023 and counting)despite all odds!! **AP added more life to Journey's success when AP joined Journey in 2007, at the time that Journey's popularity was floundering ever since Steve Perry left, and the arrival of AP, he revived theJourney band with success after success in its Concerts, all over the world where Journey had never been before! Thanks for sharing a nice and clear Journey video footage, really enjoying AP’s live performance with the band, I really enjoy every minute whenever AP performs “Open Arms”, looks like he is the only who can give justice to that song, so for now it’s not really easy to replace him, no better replacement for a lead vocalist like AP’s raspy sound quality voice, what an awesome performance again, despite the hectic concert tours all over US, and other places..

I’m not a fan of this band until This dud came around y I went back to the original group when Mr Perry was with them…y I was so blown by the dynamics of the group y then…I bought the vinyl but then this new vocalist did improve a lot … as far as the ease on the top most range because Mr Perry was so smooth y Arnel had the better timbre y less nasally toned rendition…(: imo; this very heartfelt y powerful song y salamat pô 😅
