One of the best concert of Journey. Arnel Pineda's voice is not drowned by the instruments. He looks very comfortable and relaxed on stage.

I went to the Earth, Wind And Fire/ Chicago ( The band) when the NORTHERLY ISLAND concert area opened in Chicago and that place rocked or so I thought. I went to The Midwest Amphitheater Journey/Heart/Cheap Trick and that was the bomb! Does not even come close. Journey concert was the best. I've seen STYX in their heyday so I know what I'm talking about!

Just listen to Arnel Pineda's _- what an incredible tenor pitch-perfect vocals with a natural awesome rasp to it when he sings power ballad songs - full of soul and emotions! Thanks to AP for keeping Journe's legacy with us for many years !! BTW-- SP and AP have their place in Journey's band and in our hearts as well -- for me, ~equally! Why do some people have to make comparisons" It's NON SENSE! All vocals are fundamentally different and undoubtedly unique in themselves! AP's voice is incomparable because it is his own personal voice and tonality. . He has to sing Journey songs when he was recruited ( NOT other songs!) ***just let the man sing and appreciate Journey songs while it is still around--- that is if you want to hear Journey songs! Otherwise, if the Journey songs were not active on shows/Concerts --the song fades and dies and the band goes along with it ( as it happened to other popular brands ) ***** PEACE ****

I don't care what anyone says this is Journey's best song by a mile. I find it interesting that they seem to be playing this song in the US locations and not necessarily in some of the foreign areas. It was not performed in Manila surprisingly as this song was a huge hit in the Asian countries. The first performance of it ever was in Tokyo in 1981.

Lately Arnel's voice sounds too tired and weak, they need to rest for a year and then back on tour again. Those Journey songs are too high nobody can resist that, not even Steve Perry could.

He sounds much fresher here than ten years later. Yes these notes are way too high even the concert in Hollywood with Symphony the songs were all too high notes.

Steve Perry said these notes were too high even for him and too high for Arnel. He thinks notes should be lowered as singers aged. Most singers lower their notes as they age.
