I played the whole game with one person, and we messed around for hours. It felt like a movie because at the end, the dragon separated us when we were hiding from it, and when we finally found each other at the snow, both of our long capes were short. I’m never gonna experience a game like this again. :(

Before I got the white robe a white robe was helping me... they were so kind and had so much patience. It makes me cry that I will probably never see em again... I GOT THIS FOR HE OR SHE!

Thank you for this my friend ! I skipped the #20 and went straight for the #21. I was lost trying to find it when a white robe showed up and guessed that I was lost. The person guessed what I was looking for even though we were up to the meditation part of the chapter and guided me to it. What a timeless game.

Yeah you can. When you are at the stage select, you can see what stages are missing symbols when you stand next to the entrance. Its how I found my last missing one the first time, As soon as you hit the last one you are set.

Just went through fresh(ish) on an alt account, started out not having played the game at all on that account, but because of what I had found on my own before on my main, and the help on the ones I missed that you point out in this video, I was able to get the "Transcendence" achievement the *first* time through on this alt account.

I found the last 3 I needed because of you! Thank you so much!

I finished the game just then with a random person with a white robe and he or she helped me find all the symbols and things that get your cape longer and the whole way through we just chirped and stuck with each other. We even walked through the mountain together into the light and I’m sad cause I don’t know if Ill ever find that person again but if you are reading this, thank you for the amazing journey :)

You can see who you played with after the credits get done, identified by symbol. There is a chance you could end up playing with the same player again in the future.

I only needed #13 and #20. Thanks for making this vid so the ones of us who missed two symbols and used about 4 hours trying to find them but eventually gave up. Could ACTOULY be able to find them.

No, just get it in the corresponding chapter and make sure you transition to the next area after that and then you can go back to the level selection hub.

The only time you "sit down" to get anything is on the cut scenes in between each section, but then I just started playing this game in 2020.

I'm confused. How do you know which chapter is the one you're missing the symbol? I found the white robe shrine but I can't tell which chapters I'm missing the symbols in.

At the end of a chapter the base of the meditation stone shows the symbols available in the chapter. The glowing ones, you got. The dark ones, you didn't.

In addition to what Kris posted, at the very start of the game, you are in the "chapter select" map/area. You get to the part with the big buildings and there is a stair case looking thing on the right. Those "stairs" each represent a level, and the symbols that are lit according to what level you have found those specific symbols on.

i think i only have a few left someone in a white robe showed me some of the ones i missed

can I get like 10 symbols in one walkthrough and then get the missing ones playing only the chapters witch they're in, and still get the white robe?

Every time you collect another symbol, your scarf gets a little longer. If you manage to run the entire game without taking any damage, your scarf is pretty darn long by the time you get to the frozen wastes.

So basically if you complete the game, you just play it again, AND again? I hoped it was longer, it was a beutiful expirience :'(

Yeah, but because part of the experience is coop no two playthroughs are the same.

How long do the cape signs get?

I know its 3 years later but. Do you have to collect them all in one playtrough or can you just collect some at 1st playtrough and the remaining on the 2nd playtrough

+Mila Love It does not have to be in 1 play through, it saves ones you have picked up in the past so you can come back later and grab the last few that you may have been missing.

Yeah I know. I tried it earlier and I got the White Robe. I am on a new Journey now and I want to see if I can meet some fellow travellers. I can admit this game is pretty amazing even in 2023!! I got it back in 2020 but people had better things to do in quarantine lmao. Again, thank you so much!!

As far as I can tell, its pretty random. A few runs through I found a brand new red robe figure (no trim) so I knew I was playing with someone very fresh, but it looks like a fair percentage of the people online are either multiple-trip veterans or white robed. It seems to connect you to someone as soon as you enter the bridge section of the desert as well.

Yeah, I do know though that if you don't finish the level at the same time with someone, as in you don't both go at the end-level circle together, you get connected to a new player.

You get all the symbols before you make it to the last ice level, that one is not required for the white robes. We just went for it since I was playing with a random other person.

After you collect all the symbols, it will appear for you from then on for future runs! So you are allowed to switch back and forth at any time from the level selection arena

Can someone explain to me why those damn collectibles are never saved? I get symbols finish the level then go to chapter select only to see that nothing was saved. Happened every time.

I'm not sure why it wouldn't save them for you even after collecting them, maybe try a run through the entire thing and collect them again, if that doesn't work then I have no idea. As for quitting the game and restarting once you collect them, that does work fine for me, I used that method to get gold robes with no trim on the ps4 version.

+Gaming Gamer Wolf On stage select, there are also a set of the symbols that glow when you have them collected. If one isn't lit then you are missing it from that section.

I'll never be able to get this. The damn sand sliding section was too fast for me to get them all. You can't get breaks anywhere which isn't ideal for a video that goes stupid fast through everything. I give up!

It also doesn't help that you're using white robe and skipping sections that red robes can't because they're scarves are still smaller and don't recharge when you land. Not to mention the sped up footage making it hard to keep up with where you are. It just feels inconsiderate sometimes.

I've already given up some time ago after finding a video series that wasn't sped up. My reflexes aren't that great and it's especially difficult in places like the sand surfing area where you can't go backwards or slow down.
