Journey From SWITZERLAND To TUNISIA 🇹🇳 HAMMAMET
Alright guys, we have been quiet for a short time and now back in business for good. Back on the road. The long awaited question, what is the next destination, is revealed, it is Tunisia. Please do follow up on this beautiful north African country and see what it has to offer. We are flying to Enfidha Hammamet which will bring us straight into the super touristy circle of the country. But we will show you also the not so touristy places, especially those. The country, the foods, the people. Please do support us.

Historically, Tunisia is the oldest Maghreb country and it founded some Moroccan cities in the Carthaginian era, such as Volubilis and Tangier. As you know, Tunisia is Carthage in ancient history. Even in the Islamic era, Tunisians founded cities such as Fess and Marrakesh and founded Al-Qarawiyyin, the second oldest university after the University of Ez-Zitouna. Tunisians also founded the city of Cairo in Egypt during the Fatimid era and its capital, Mahdia, in Tunisia. Algeria and Libya are modern countries that emerged with the Ottoman occupation of North Africa. Western Libya and eastern Algeria were part of Tunisia and were Tunisian lands before the Ottoman occupation. Finally, Tunisian features differ from Moroccan and Egyptian ones. We, the people of North Africa, know a person's country by his features.

you also forget Palermo in Italy, Valencia Cadiz Malaga Barcelona Carthagena and so on in Spain there are several and in Portugal Lisbon Algarve Faro and Tunes which bears the direct name of Tunisia. Athena, the queen of the ancient Greeks, is a woman of Tunisian origin who was born at Lake Triton (Chott Jerid) and I will go over the history of Tunisia without counting that Algiers is a city created by the Carthaginians and called ikosim besides the east of Algeria they are only former territories of Tunisia and Tripoli in Libya was a Tunisian city the Tunisians are the creators of civilizations but all the countries are very jealous of us especially the North Africans who do not still can't swallow that the Tunisians are their founders, they will never accept it but it is indeed Tunisia which is at the origin, it is history which says so and they took all our Malta territory from us sicily sardinia spain portugal algeria morocco libya and corsica in france which are part of the great ancient tunisian territory even andalusia the first to enter was the governor of tunisia Musa ibn nussayr with his army chief tarik ibn zyed (gibraltar) that the Moroccans and Algerians try to say that he comes from them when he was part of the Tunisian army of Musa ibn Nussayr. it's like saying to a guy who serves the army and is a commander in the army of england and that 2000 years later the irish and the scots and the welsh at the same time claim the origin of this english soldier that's their story is not logical 😂
Aaaah ...you guys are travelling to Tunisia, a country which l know very very little about it. It definitely will be awesome to see and learn more about this country thru' your lens/eyes. Anyway, thanks for sharing your journey from Switzerland to Tunisia. Looking forward to your Tunisia series. Happy exploring, Mr Moonshine and family. Take care.

love your new series 😀 I lived in Tunisia for few years, and I still visit almost every year, really kind, friendly, loving people! and a calm underrated destination, however, about the Taxi sadly, you totally got scammed man. a drive from Sousse that is just few kms from Enfidha, to Hammamet costs 7.5 Dinars per person (around 2.5 USD) using a Louage, it would cost like 37 dinars for your whole family instead of a 100. I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip, just be careful of the Tourist traps, and try to go where regular Tunisians go, best of luck.

Yes it's sad about the taxi, they even wanted 150 but as a foreigner it's impossible and there were no luages, pretty bad side but what the heck 😀

I have been through the same Tunisian airport about 4 times in the last 2 years and it always looks deserted, when you see the overgrown parking lots it always looks like it was built to handle a much larger capacity. You paid seriously over the odds for your orange deal at the airport, free sim card but 10 euro for 10 GB and 20 euro for 25GB, in the Orange store its 2d for a sim and 60d for 75GB @15.75 euro! Edited to add, just did a quick online search and last year they has 0.8million passengers, it was opened with a capacity of 7million and expandable to 22million
