So damned glad that Neal Schon found this jewel online...Arnel Pineda may not have the same vocal range as Steve Perry but he gives the songs a damned good (and convincing) interpretation of his own and keeps JOURNEY ROCKING. GOD BLESS ARNEL PINEDA, AND GOD BLESS JOURNEY!

Because arnel was 40yrs old here not in his prime anymore... Perry can't even sing the song in Key when he was 40yrs old check the 90's live journey with him

@Doyle Perkins, I totally agree, I have seen video footage on YT a lot but when I have Journey LIVE performance at the venue, WOW, he truly got that incredibly energetic and powerful live performance, was an SP fan and AP fan as well.., well, I don't blame SP for endorsing and speak highly of him. He certainly kept Journey's legacy alive!

I was around when this song came out in the 80s. This guy is amazing! He's living the dream!

He sang it perpectly beautiful, his vocal range is really amazing, hitting that high note with his tenor husky voice.... its awesome !!! proud Pilipino.

*Very hard to replace Mr. Perry... but I'd say this guy is pretty damn good.*

Journey became a favorite of mine when Steve joined the group; his voice was perfect. Now Arnel does have a great voice, absolutely. And in my opinion, the fact that he sounds so much like Steve, is a credit to him. Cuz anyone else singing Journey songs, just would not cut it. The band did miraculous in finding Arnel. A credit to them.

Arnel is living a dream come true, he's awesome. I love Steve Perry but he was swallowed up by the misery of his losses and chose illness over happiness. He just gave up. Rock on Arnel!!!!!

This concert makes me nostalgic, but I only watched it on DVD

Journey needs to release the ROR concert tour on DVD , that would be awesome to see again

No it's not, it's Arnel. I understand how die hards feel but the guy can sing and it isnt like they threw Steve Perry out...he left...he felt like an outsider even after Journey gave him the reins for cryin out loud...so he's out...Arnel is in. AND you couldnt pick a better replacement. Hey I get to see the other members like Valory play so I guess I dont care as much.

IM 29 years old and sorry but this is not even comparable to Steve Perry. Sounds to karaoke for me. Ugh. No way id go to Journey lice concert without perry. In this song it purely shows just how amazing Perry was. This guy cant even do his chips nor his vibrato runs
