*Guys! Guys! I made an oopsie - the semi transparent paper is actually permanent, hooray* 🎉 (well, it actually says print duration: forever, but that’s the same thing 🤣)

I purchased one 2/3/2021 and I love it. I got it for Journaling because I could not find just the stickers and with printer I can google pictures black and white.

Only just catching up on video but love this jlurnalling page. I've only just got my big printer set up (new one for printing my own pics) and its so brill to edit on my phone lying down on bed then just send to printer haha. The ease of life. This looks brill tho and no ink sounds like a good investment xx

TFS. Your page is pretty. I don’t know that I would have a use for a thermal printer but you did a great job with your review

Thank you! I’ll admit I wasn’t sure when they first contacted me as I thought all thermal prints faded like receipts but when I learnt about the 20 year paper I was in! 😂

Hi Grace, thanks for showing the Phomemo. I have seen quite a few reviews of these printers before, but I never realized that thermal paper can last for up to 20 years 🤯. I thought what use is this printer when whatever I'll print will probably fade or turn black in no time? But this is really something else. Thanks for pointing that out.

I thought exactly that when they first contacted me - but the 20 year paper is supposed to last *at least* 20 years as well so it could last quite a while longer! (As long as you don’t store the prints anywhere too warm... but that’s not a big problem in the UK 🤣).

I got mine when they first came out but it only seems to be the case that’s changed. Now I’m guilty of putting it away after my trip to Nottingham in September 2019 and I haven’t used it since!! 😲 I feel a play coming on this week so thank you for your demonstration Grace and your spread looks gorgeous xxx💕

My brother's bought his daughter a thermal printer for Christmas so it was interesting to watch this! I had to laugh at your "who doesn't love a butterfly?" comment. Mark hates them! We were in the butterfly house at Whipsnade zoo and they kept trying to land on him so he ran over to the other side of the exhibit shouting "I can't stand these bastard butterflies, I'll be over here with the crocodiles where it's safer!!!"

Is it just me but what's the point in a printer that doesn't print permanent pages? If you're printing a receipt or something you only need for a few days/months couldn't you just do it on an ordinary printer with paper and then dispose of said item after? Anything more permanent, use a printer that prints permanently - I find items like this really gimmicky and they want you to buy them because it's shiny and new not because it's of any use to you whatsoever! 😊

Personally I see fun and convenience, rather than gimmick. Is my manual die cut machine of use to me when I’ve already got a silhouette that would do the same job? Arguably no, but it’s flipping convenient not to have to start up silhouette software and all that when I just want to die cut one or two little tags or something. I see this as the same. When I want to add one little picture to my journal I either have to have enough pictures to collage onto A4 and print out, or print just that one and waste the rest of the paper (also printer ink is expensive but that’s a side note). As for the permanence, I’m not sure how much I’ll care in 20 years if a meme I found funny at 30 has faded a tad. But I understand why people are put off by that.
