#the100dayproject Day15
Classical bookbinding is a great knowledge for all those who love to create journals. It will teach you how to work with paper, cloth and glue, make you more comfortable, make you more artistic with your journals once you know the basic. In this video I wanted to share with you basic of square backed book binding. Don't forget to create your own piercing cradle. It's a great tool and will make your journal making adventure more easy.
My homemade mixed glue is in 1:1 ratio PVA glue and wheat paste. How to make wheat paste you can see here: • How to make wheat star...

Thanks so much for posting this video. I’ve watched lots of videos on bookbinding and yours, by far, is the most accessible. I’ve also never seen anyone do traditional bookbinding with non-traditional papers. As many videos as I’ve watched, I still learned a few things from you. I appreciate the share. ❤

Eva I didn’t realise how much work you invest into making a classical book binding. I love the idea of using newspaper as pages along with the opened tea stained envelopes. Sadly I do not have the patience to make one. But, it’s really beautiful and I am sure will last a very long time. Thank you for sharing so much time to show how it’s done.❤

It may only be an hour as the finished result but it would be nice for your subscribers know just how dedicated to teaching that you are. Thank-you so very much for sharing your creativity and valuable time.
