I was working AV crew for a corporate event in Vegas around the time of these appearances (2011-12), and she was the closing night musical act. Hung out at the bar with her and the band at the wrap party, and when she found out it was my birthday, she gave me a kiss. Best. Birthday. Ever.

I had an entire Norwegian ballet school sing me the Norwegian Happy Birthday song (it's very different from the common one) to me one year, and it was so special I will treasure the experience forever. Every one of them was absolutely gorgeous. But I might be seriously tempted to trade it for one kiss from 2010 Joss Stone. I think I'm jealous.

I absolutely adore so many of his guests -- SO MANY. But if there's one guest that can totally be described as "delightful" (in the extreme) it's Joss Stone. And man can she sing. Holy cow.

Her music wasn’t for me when she was in the spotlight in 2005 because I was young and had horrible music taste lol but man I am glad I decided to listen to one of her songs because I am blown away by the talent. That voice!!!

Damn good singer, - far better than all this rubbish they 'pump' at you today. Didn't like the way the record company were 'electronically messing up' her music, so to their surprise she bought out her 'contract', cost her nearly all the money she had at the time. So now she does what she wants when she wants, and believe you me she has quite a following, - BUT to like JOSS you need that thing which is in very short supply today - GOOD TASTE and an ear for GOOD music. She is so very underrated as a singer, all you hear is pure JOSS - no gimmicks - I just love her music. She is part of the group formed by Mick Jagger - (Super Heavy), - when needed, - and to be invited to join something like that you have to be good, as I don't think Mick would ask any 'rubbish' artist to become involved in something he was in.

Joss covering Janis Joplin’s “Piece Of My Heart’ with Malissa Etheridge is still one of my all time favorite performances and TV moments ever.

I attended a show by Steve Perry during his “For the Love of Strange Medicine” tour. There was a phenomenal R&B/pop singer I’d never heard of as the opening act. I’m 98% sure, in retrospect, that it was a young Joss Stone, probably just getting introduced to the US. Perry commented on how good he thought she was and that he’d chosen her to open the shows because he wanted more people to hear her.

Pferdesalami Trust me, she has the same amount of makeup on as always. Just because she's wearing more neutral, natural toned lipstick in some scenes it doesn't mean that she physically has less makeup on. The red lipstick is the same amount of makeup...it's just a bolder color.
