Wow are these two really gay? I am a huge Kyuss fan and not a fan pompous gay guys who always say the perfect cool thing. Very plastic too me.

These guys are cool because they own their coolness. They aren't afraid of it. And they're aware that it's just a role to play like any other role. Queens are on of the few authentically cool bands around.

no wonder Josh is pumping out so many good music. The way he talks about music and other things is just on another level

Great interview! Personable and unforced. I liked your questions because I think it's pretty easy to sense disingenuous pokes at information to try and get 'original' questions from popular figures, but I feel like they sensed your fandom, clear appreciation for the band and music so they gave something unique back!

Josh - I know you'll never watch this interview back, I know you'll never read this comment, but "Perception is truth, right?" is a phrase only a villain would use in such flagrant a way. If I could sit, sip tea & hold a discussion with you on that point, I think we'd both find it enlightening, but we'd end up coming to no better true understanding than the centuries of global philosophy already unfurled before us. "Perception is truth, right?" Man, that's 7 years of philosophical study that would earn an education - and ultimately drive one to insanity.

It feels good to follow the rules (ww2 reference) such a deep answer to villains and how evil exists in normal culture and with covid lockdowns rings true even more in 2020 and 2021 (prob 2022 at this rate). Evil persists when good men sit idle. Stand up and live free in the life you are given.

Homme is annoying seriously. The guy is so full of himself it's almost comical to watch. He's one of those guys who thinks every single thing that comes out of his mouth is worthy of getting tattooed or to be thought over deeply. It gets tiresome after the first couple of minutes. I know personally I could never hang out with him he's too into his own shit, doesn't really care or listen to others opinions and always has his own. It must be exhausting to always try as hard as he does.
