My mother drove my dad to suicide. I was blessed by God to have been there when it happened. He had the .38 to his head and was about to do it. I was able to stop him and give him counsel. As a 16 year old this was hard. I hated my mom. But I also hated myself. Because as a Son, I was unhelpful and made my dad hate his life more by never letting him teach me anything. I was an avid gamer and didn’t think the things he wanted to teach me were worth a damn. Fast forward 12 years and I have a decent relationship with both. I discovered that I needed to forgive myself before I could expect my mother to ask for forgiveness from me. Thanks for making this video. It helped enforce my trust in myself.
