I feel like we need a Master Chief and Shepard talking about how everyone looks at them as gods, even though they see themselves as just mere soldiers doing their job

To be fair, as Shepard says, 'You know the old saying 'theres never an atheist in a foxhole?' Ive been in a lot of foxholes.'

I've been addicted to Joshua Graham's AI speech for a couple of months now. Seeing the same technique applied to both recognized voices I can pinpoint the exact reason Joshua's never cease to entertain me: you can barely hear artificially in his stoic demeanor. Even when raising his voice, the monotone never goes away. Because the character is broken and devoid of petty passions (he is passionate, just not in the common sense way of being passionate) makes it ideal for an AI to reproduce. And those lifeless yet inspirational deliveries from the source material, made for sublime inputs for an AI to emulate this speech pattern. Max Payne AI speeches are somewhere close because of his cynic antics. But JG is just another level.

I don't know if you will see this but I really think a good follow up to this could be Grahm and Mordin having a conversation about Mordin's trials and worldview especially given his involvement in reinforcing the genophage and subsequent spiritual and philosophical journey.

@@shizachan8421 I feel like Homelander would be so jealous, shamed and angry seeing someone actually being what he pretends to be It might ruin him seeing an actual kind, honest, diligent and wise person with his abilities without being… whatever you wanna call John

I think mass effect 3 had some cut content where Ashley,(who is religious) asks shepard, if he saw or remembers anything about his time dead and i think shepard tells her that he doesn't remember or he didn't see anything.

I always have my Shepard with faith (there is never an atheist in a foxhole conversation with Best girl Ashley Williams), I like to believe that faith gave my Shepard strength and focus to overcome the challenges he faced in ending the Reaper threat and coming back to Ash no matter what stood against him.

Once again, just like with Geralt, Shepard is not the doubting type. There's even dialogue for paragon Shepard in ME1 that shows that he/she's a believer in God when Ashley talks about it. The Mass Effect universe has religious aliens, and the humans are religious enough that Cerberus is trying to control the Papacy to further their goals, and you've got grunts like Ashley who's openly religious.

I have a question and hope you wouldn't mind explaining. What if any is the guiding morality in such an outlook? Does that mean that the highest moral virtue is to preserve your existence and that of other cells around you? Would that mean that natural disasters are injuries to the body that cause the loss of cells? And that evil actions would be like cancerous cells destroying those around them? Or am I misunderstanding the concept?

Much as I like and agree with how most of this conversation went, I can't agree with Shepard being that wordy at the end of it, like I would expect him to have a short but simple send-off one that is spelled true and one that is either a bit aggressive or a bit pious. Just like how there would be many interpretations on how Shepard acts throughout the series, considering you can change whether he's a arrogant, selfish guy or a very compassionate and selfless guy

A man who wishes for the genocide of humanity because someone more powerful that he demands it and a man who is fighting against genocide because of a belief in the right to life in spite of the demands of the powerful. It's a shame that AI isn't powerful enough to properly portray how their debate would play out.

Give AI time, it will grow and evolve stronger. Just like all technologies it will get better overall, not right now, but like I said, just give it time, it will get better.
