Erica Jacques actually this "cheat" that you hate so much is to fill in for sounds that are missing. I Don't know a drummer that can play a solid beat on drums and Conga at the same time, and if you do please upload so we can see your video... This "cheat" method is simple. If you don't have a conga player or percussionist you can make the track it is that simple. they are real musicians regardless of what they use. One thing to understand is that music is evolving and the "unreal musicians" ,as you call us, are evolving with it.

I feel like click tracks for shouting just doesn't feel like it's a true form of praise. it just seems too prompted.

it's only keeping tempo, it's not even like running stems.. pretty much same thing as a tamborine player

+AwesomeMan2696 It doesn't matter, click tracks do feel prompted. It keeps the tempo but lets say they want to play a bit faster or slower, the track is set to one bpm. I understand what both of you are saying but yeah the click track ruins it for me.

Maybe I'm taking the scope of what is transpiring. It seems forced all the way around. Not so much the click, but the scene itself. You can't force people to go somewhere they don't want to go. Like they say in the old church, "Time to move on."
