Josh Kurpius, Part I

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

One look at photographer/bike builder Josh Kurpius shots and youll see that moment when art blurs into life. Kurpius captures epic, point-of-view stills of bikers cutting through beautiful stretches of the Midwest - the kind of shots that inspire you to quit a job and hit the road.
We tracked Kurpius down to see what makes him tick, and found hes serious about riding, great with a camera and hell-bent on having a good time while doing both.
For the H.O.G. members on this site, Josh is the guest writer/photographer for the "Forty-Eight Hours in L.A" article in the Winter 2010 issue of HOG Magazine.
Check out part one of our two-part series.

The constantly growing disclaimers as they do more non-pc stuff is HILARIOUS!!!

I can't believe he is from Genoa. I'm from Belvidere. I have always enjoyed his photos. Small world.

The safety disclaimer is silly --but Josh's work is solid.

All it takes to live is all it takes to appreciate freedom "a little courage" and just enough sense to understand life happens in the now.

I have mad amounts of respect for Josh and what he does, I am a photographer and builder myself but,....MY GOD, to whoever edited this, one disclaimer would have done just fine. I mean seriously we get it, harley doesnt wanna get sued, point taken, ...could we just watch this video uninterupted? Its almost disrespectful to the riders in all the shots to have like, 27 massive disclaimers throughout a video. Just sayin.......

I dig the bikes, the workshop, and the fact that you guys are customizing stuff! I know chopper guys like to laugh at the helmet thing...but ya don't wanna become the next Indian Larry. Get a helmet, something with modern padding but with vintage looks and customize it. I have 21 years riding experience, I was the first on the scene of a no helmet bike wreck (not pretty) and I've spent years working with people who have brain damage and believe me, brain damage is not macho or sexy.
