Convicted of conspiracy means you were a part of the poaching ring. They took a plea to have the other charges dropped.

No, It’s worse & the opposite! He clearly stated they DIDN’T know about the owner being under serious investigations! They truly didn’t know but it doesn’t change the fact that they should have! How they can be charged & even convicted of conspiracy is INSANE! To do so means they were a KNOWING PARTICIPANT secretly planning to do something illegal with the owner! That’s NOT the case so the conspiracy charge is disgustingly WRONG!

@@of-Israel If you're bow hunting it helps get the deer to an exact spot within shooting range. With a food plot, depending on the size, the deer could use it but still be 50 or 100 yd away from you. I'm not sure if that's the logic they use for the law but it's the first thing that came to my mind.

Listen to the Big Buck Radio episode about the Kentucky/Ohio giant poaching case. Those officers have the leeway to work charges for people that work with them. His business was not impacted but he had to pay because he plead out.

Its very important to the sport and commercialization of hunting to tell these stories. The Bowmars are not alone in this new pay to play scheme that hunting is becoming. Do some self research and you guys will find hundreds of these guys that get charges on them, then dropped or pleaded down. Ive been hunting for 30 and i could have never dreamed of what hunting has turned into now. Its still a dream and kids dream to just get the chance to hunt and people like this ruin it evey single day. This is a very great example why families keep hunting land to themselves or land is simply not huntable anymore, people are tired of the liability of things like this happening, what needs to be pushed more then anything is that, its not about the Bowmars no matter how shitty they are, its truly about brands, pushing equipment, getting likes on a social media platform, posting big dead deer and doing whatever you have to, to make that happen MONEY.

You knew something wasn’t right .. and you still went back anyways. There’s more to the story to this as you took a plea deal and a $75,000 fine. If you were convicted you were part of the poaching ring that was going on.. FOH !
